I was on a site today (www.toilgirls.com) and came across a poem that struck a chord. I adapted to be more about...well...me! Gifts of Light in the Darkness

I awoke this morning to so many gifts of light after these past few days of darkness in my life. It started with an email from someone I had been missing, I then walked outside and in the still dark, morning sky celestial Ladies, all in a row, greeted me. The Seven Sisters, Grandmother Moon and Lady Venus shown their light down upon me. I'm SUCH a proud mama!!!

Excuse me while I crow a bit. LOL

My 16 year old son made one of his dreams come true tonight. He played with a professional Irish band! He is self taught on the pennywhistle and Irish flute. I always knew he was good, but he wanted to test himself. The band (Clann Darragh) had an open session tonight at a local pub and he kept right up with them. They were all very impressed with him and have invited him back to play with them again in two weeks! He even sang a solo!!! I could NOT have been mo… Continue
