Cynical
Tomorrow is but already dead.
As if the coming day can but only bring dread to the world.
Darkness falls over soul after soul like a huge steel curtain draped across our sins.
While the matters that truly need attention are ignored or cannot be changed and are left festering like and infected wound.
With that being said....
Why are we living, why are we here.
If we can't change a thing, why not disappear.
Pain is an escape, reality hurts.
To know you are worthless and feel less than dirt.

Realization
Deep and Dark Sorrow which swiftly takes away my hopes and dreams
a black cloud looming over my head at all times
inching its way over me slowly as I go trudge down the winding path
always going forward, looking for the clear blue skies of a sunny day
visions of what I want shroud what I have already
