- I'm a solitary eclectic pagan, more along the shaman/druid lines. For me it all started 6 years ago, when I moved into my first apartment, and I realized I wasn't alone. A hand print on a mirror in a steamy shower, seeing shadows, and phantom smells were all things that I coped well with- a little different, but i could live with that... But being confronted by something that you cannot see, but still feel is a little different. I was petrified My eyes could not move away from it. My legs would not walk. There were no exits- I was cornered in the bathroom, and the only thing i could manage to do was move my hands up to my neck in protection- like something was reaching out to choke me. Then I decided that for some little former christian boy who's faith was already in question, it was time for a change... My eyes had just been opened! Welcome to the rest of your life.
