I have been a practicing Witch for 20 years as well as a Reiki Master and Massage Therapist born and raised in Connecticut. I trained and was initiated within the Dianic Tradition back in the late 90s. Several years later I studied and was initiated a Priestess within The Religious Order of Witchcraft, a tradition founded by Mary Oneida Toups in NOLA. I am now married and have since moved across the country where I currently live in Montana. Due to my now rural location I practice as a solitary Witch. After being trained in two different traditions I feel as if I have a well rounded occult background. As a solitary I now combine various elements of ritual from my past training as well as those I feel drawn to from my heart. I mainly work with the Dark Mother Kali and serve Her as Priestess and Witch.
Some of my favorite books are:
* The Sacred Traditions of Ancient Egypt by Rosemary Clark
*The Sacred Magic of Ancient Egypt by Rosemary Clark
*Diary of a Witch by Sybil Leek
*Book of Shadows by Phyllis Curott
*The Secret Teachings of All Ages by Manly P. Hall
*Women of the Otherwold Series by Kelley Armstrong
*The Holy Book of Women's Mysteries by Zsuzanna Budapest
Beliefs / Practices
Occultist, Witch, Heathen
I first began as many do as a solitary practitioner of Witchcraft. I trained within the Dianic Tradition for about 3 years where I received my initation as a priestess but have spent the last 5 years or so as a solitary ecclectic before finding my current group.
Yoga, Reading, Writing, Drawing, Studying magic, the occult and ancient history, and swimming.
*My High Priest and High Priestess of the ROOW! They are both an inspiration and it is an honor having been taught by them. My spirit is blessed!

I just recently started a yahoo group for Pagan/Witchy women in South Eastern Connecticut on yahoo groups, so I wanted to send the link to you to see if you'd be interested in joining it. There is a message board for discussions and a chat room for discussions in real time. We are few in number so far but I hope by inviting people from outside my little group of friends that I can expand the group =) Here's the link in case you are interested. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/secpwomen Blessed Be! Hey my lady! It's official, I started packing tonight. Hopefully it will be a slow and steady process. Lots to do, I'm hoping to squeeze this page in on some down time, so If i disappear for days at a time, it's just me, trying to balance it all!! Thanks for telling me about this site!!
Hello dear. Been doing some of my own exploring tonight...and I found the message board for historical research. Guess you won't have to hear some of my long winded history rants...or I'll find ammo to put you through more :)
Merry Meet Stacey! Welcome. Just wanted to drop by and say "hi" and to let you know we're a friendly group here. I know you'll need time to get settled in, and look around as it is sort of a candy shop here. So many good things to choose from, and hard to decide which looks the best. Blessings :-)
