Ralston's Ultimate Deluxe Gourmet Macaroni and Cheese of Happiness and Joy!

I will share with you my recipe for macaroni and cheese of happiness. I will just explain as I go, you will have to extract your own ingredient list.

First take a medium size pan and melt a quarter stick of butter, then turn the heat to low, and add a whole brick of Velveeta cheese. It melts faster if you cut it into smaller blocks. As it melts say something to the effect of bringing joy into your household. Keep the heat low and move on to the next part.

While that is melting tale a small frying pan and sauté a can of mushrooms in garlic butter. I make the butter by melting a half a stick of butter and adding a few shakes of garlic powder. I like to make the mushrooms a nice dark brown. When they are done put them in a bowl and set them aside. After removing from the heat give thanks for having the food of the gods in your kitchen.

Using the small pan again, scramble four eggs; make the chunks as small as you can chop them. When they are nice and dry add the mushrooms and stir. Remove from heat and set aside. Add in some words about having Joy in your kitchen.

Stir the melting Velveeta cheese; do not turn up the heat as burnt cheese tastes bad. Allow the scientific principle of heat transfer, (conduction, and convection) to do its job. As the melting is taking place again make sure to add in some words about happiness in your household.

In a large pot fill with water and bring to a boil. Add in elbow macaroni, I use the small elbows, but you can use any size you prefer. After you pour in the noodles, add a dollop of vegetable oil, and a few shakes of salt. This keeps the noodles from sticking together. Bring the water to boil again, stirring as you go. Add in a few words of well being into the noodles and something to the effect that the steam is cleansing the area of illness. Turn off the heat and let the noodles simmer.

By now the Velveeta cheese should be melted, so add in a small jar of cheese wiz, stir well. With this also add in words about joy in the family and happiness in the house.

Now add a few spices to bring out the taste; a pinch of lemon, some onion salt, a few shakes of garlic, and two doses of sage. Last is the secret ingredient; a table spoonful of sugar. The sage is to remove negativity, so add in some words about the negative being disolved. Stir until evenly mixed. As the smell fills the house add in words about happiness in the household.

By now the noodles should be soft, test to check firmness, too firm let them sit a while longer; they should just be able to be cut with the edge of your spatula. On the other hand don't make them too soft as it will turn into a gooey mess. Then drain the noodles, do not rinse, and put back in the large pot.

Take the contents of the other two pans and pour them into the large pot of noodles. As your scrape the cheese mix and mushrooms from their pan into the pot again add words about how this house is a happy house and there is joy in the eating. Stir until well mixed.

When serving sprinkle with bacon bits, I use the ones that are not really bacon, but vegetable protein with bacon flavor. They are crunchy and add more texture to the noodles. Yummy! As you sprinkle them on top say some words about love in the family and joy in the eating.

Try it you'll like it. (and so will everyone else)

Be Blessed.
