"Fresh Salsa"

So I took some of my salsa to work for the guests and other employees to enjoy. I got some good feedback and did it again yesterday. Generally the consensus was that it was really good and "how did you make this?".

I was thinking that fresh is relative because I use canned petite cut tomatoes and el pato sauce.

Gearing up for 2009 DragonCon

No I am not getting into a costume or buying one! I bought a camera. Last year I used a disposable camera and did not like the size or limited supply of pictures. This year I am taking my new Nikon S220 which is teeny and cute and has great features. I am just learning how to use it so by the time Labor Day weekend and the Con is here I should be comfortable with operation. Got my own room...I am so excited to be going. So much rain it makes my head hurt!

I am really amazed at how blessed we have been with dramatic rainfalls. Lightening and thunder, wind and hail, humidity and then dry, so diverse! The trees are green with leaves and hearty too. The animals seem real healthy and my cats have been lacking in ticks and fleas. I could get used to this man! Don has planted tomatoes in the greenhouse and herbs in the hydroponics.
