Whoa she's my little whiskey girl
my raggid-on-the-edges girl
Ah, but I like 'em rough
Yeah, I like 'em rough

Cherry Liqueur
2½ cups whole, ripe bing cherries
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
2 cups brandy
1 cup vodka
1/8 teaspoon ground mace
½ cup sugar
¼ cup water
Remove stems from cherries. Pierce cherries down to the pit 7 or 8 times with a small skewer. Place cherries in a large jar and sprinkle with powdered sugar. When sugar is dissolved, add brandy and vodka, stirring mixture. Cover tightly and let steep in a warm place, abut 75-80 degrees for 6 weeks. When steeping period is complete, strain and filter liquid. (Mash cherries to extract all the liquid)
Combine sugar and water in a heavy saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer until sugar has completely dissolved, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
Combine sugar syrup, mave, and the filtered liquid. Pour into bottles and cap tighly. Let age at least 1 month before serving.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!..
Hope you are doing well - give me a yell!
I read your missive on the Martial Meditation group from May of this year. I am in agreement, the styles I practice and teach are simple, straightforward and effective; Longbow, Longsword, Dagger, Warhammer, Poleaxe. If one cannot remember how to accomplish the technique, how does one expect to use it in a time of need?
More importantly I agreed with your statement on Motherhood. Doubtless the strongest and most enduring example in our lives is our Ladymother, nowhere can there be found a more important and vital person. Some time ago I wrote a poem in Honour of these great persons, by your leave I humbly offer it unto you, thank you!
The Matriarch

by Sir Blackwolf
She cares for her family with a fair but firm hand,
The Mother of her line, the Matriarch of her clan.
With love greater than most she attends to their needs,
with bright shining eyes, her every word they do heed.
She is more than just Mother, or Woman, or Wife,
she is the ideal, the goal, the example in their life.
Such strength does she possess, no foe could her best,
wisdom learned with time, her deeds pass every test.
Respect is her due, all Honour is she deserving,
They who are of her line, are ever blessed by her serving
I am at your service,
Sir Blackwolf
Be well
Live well
Know you are loved
