Day 4 - 3:27 pm (local time)

Yesterday was a particular bad day for the cravings. I began to feel like I was schitzophrenic. There was this little voice in my head that kept saying, "Just one... One won't hurt... You'll still be fine if you have one... Just one..." Luckily, I had told all of my co-workers and friends that smoke that I was quitting and to not, no matter what gifts or favors I promised them, give me a cigarette. And being the good friends and colleagues they are, they didn't. Bless 'em...

Day one 10:19 am

I'm not doing too badly yet. I have a package of breath mints that I keep popping everytime I feel a craving come on. And I had a slice of banana bread and a Spiced Caramel Apple cider from Starbucks. I've even had a few snafus pop up here at work and I haven't gone running for a smoke. I think I'm doing OK....

I'll keep you all updated... Probably more than you want to be because it'll keep me busy.

OK, y'all. I'm gonna need your help

I'm quitting smoking in the morning after 15 years of doing it. Done, done, and done. Cold turkey....

Send me some warm fuzzies to get me through, eh?
