Other Beliefs/Practices
I've been Pagan for 25 years; read Tarot cards for 22; & been a licensed non-denominational minister for 8. My winding Pagan path began as eclectic Wiccan, & my personal rituals are still built within that structure; I do public rituals with the local ADF Druid grove. The majority of deities I'm aligned with are from Vodou, Hindu, Buddhist & Indo-European pantheons, & most are gatekeepers/psychopomps, along with a couple of warriors, Death/Night entities, & Eris for comic relief. I'm a Discordian & a SubGenius (Praise Dobbs!) , & I'm perfectly serious about all that that entails (HA!)! I'm continuously amused & amazed by the absurdities & depth of life, in all it's manifestations, & I'm glad to be a part of it.
Hobbies
Creative writing; reading; travel/road trips when I have the money; throwing the occasional goofy/unique party; moving meditation/yoga; reading Tarot cards.
Heroes
Lenny Bruce, Jackie Robinson, Patti Smith, anyone who's overcome a hellish childhood or other less-than-stellar life circumstances and become a compassionate, mature human being.

You are The Fool

The Fool is the card of infinite possibilities. The bag on the staff indicates that he has all he need to do or be anything he wants, he has only to stop and unpack. He is on his way to a brand new beginning. But the card carries a little bark of warning as well. Stop daydreaming and fantasising and watch your step, lest you fall and end up looking the fool.

What Tarot Card are You?

Greetings & Hallucinations, Y'All!

Just a quick "Hello" to all of you, as I've been busy enough lately to have no time until now to do this! Anyway, I'm glad to be a member of Paganspace; it's one of the great things about the Internet- the ability to build a community, nation- & worldwide, without the expense of travel! I wish you all a great autumn season, & I'll post an occasional blog comment, & send individual messages whenever time… Continue

Namaste-
I saw that you were a member of the Dharma Pagans group here and I thought you may be interested in joining a new Ning community devoted solely to IndoPagan (blending Hinduism/Buddhism with Western Magickal traditions) subjects: http://indopaganpaths.ning.com/
If not, my apologies for bothering you!
Blessings,
D

I know that times are tough, but, last I heard a few years ago, the going rate for 1 kidney was $13,000. One G won't even cover the cost o' the cutting.

Good thing that you have me around, if you're planning on parting yourself out at bargain prices!

People usually want kidneys in pairs, but we can both get by with one. I am O-Positive... maybe we can make a set.

InDesign is the new PageMaker, and part of the Adobe Creative Suite (there is also the Adobe Bridge for crossing projects from one to another), and I kinda miss messing around with it since I only have Photoshop. I haven't worked in Graphics in nearly a year (which is why I didn't respond to your email earlier), but I am hoping to change that.... Looking into a Asso. in Applied Sciences at Pima. You know... after I sell this extra kidney.

If you are picking up Photoshop and Illustrator, grab Dreamweaver, too (all part and parcel in the Adobe Creative Suite). That allows you Web and animation along with everything else. I was trained (by the seat of my pants) Creative Suite 3, and I have Creative Suite 2 here at home.... They are on Creative Suite 4 now... Each one is a completely different animal! Be assured, if you knew Adobe PageMaker, the creative Suite is a breeze (though nothing you know from there will apply).

As for survival, know anyone who wants to buy a kidney?

How very cool for you! The Adobe Creative Suite is a lot of fun, though I am already well outdated.

We are up to a whole lot of survival on this end, but no much else.
