About Me:: Howdy! Solitary practicer for years here, just curious about others experience and personal beliefs. I live in the middle of the Rocky Mountains among some very scenic landscapes and forests. Indeed I am blessed!

Favorite Books: H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allan Poe, Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, anything original and stimulating to the imagination really, love all genre's! Also for practice/research I have a lot of Scott Cunningham's books, a lot of aromatherapy and home remedy books, How to live off the land etc.

Beliefs / Practices: Spiritual but not Religious, Pagan

Other Beliefs/Practices: I personally don't believe in reincarnation back into this life; I believe this life is a stepping stone to another dimension or plane of existence, one that is proper for the actions and treatments of others here. Also a strong believer of Karma, the law of action/reaction. Still questioning a lot of beliefs though, including organized religion, god, man, and fate. Big topics to chew on lol.

Hobbies: I enjoy reading, hiking, taking pictures, soap making, gardening food and herbal plants & medicines. I also like to build miniature models of buildings, mostly Middle Ages, Egyptian, and Greek, or what ever I feel like. A place to dream, into a small built world.

Heroes: Personal heroes of mine are every day people, who love unconditionally, never complain, and always are looking for ways to help others. The quiet ones that are never recognized, and never want to be. I hope to be as great and influential as they are.

The Energy of Gratitude

I just wanted to take a minute and express what an incredible summer it's been. In two weeks time I start my Foot Reflexology/Energy Medicine (way excited ;-)), which over the course of the summer has been the source of great stress trying to raise the money for. Finally last week a blessing opened up and the Universe found a way to bring me exactly what I needed. It's true about the Law of Attraction!

In all the world there is no-one else exactly like me.

Everything that comes out of me is authentically mine because I alone chose it.

I own everything about me; my body, my feelings, my mouth, my voice, all my actions, whether they be to others or to myself - I own all my triumphs and successes, all my failures and mistakes, because I own all of me.

I can become intimately acquainted with me. By so doing I can love me and be friendly with me in all my parts. I know there are aspects about myself that puzzle me and other aspects that I do not know, but as long as I am friendly and loving to myself, I can courageously and hopefully look for solutions to the puzzles and for ways to find out more about me.

However I look and sound, whatever I say and do, and whatever I think and feel at a given moment in time is authentically me. If later some parts of how I looked, sounded, thought and felt turn out to be unfitting, I can discard that which is unfitting, keep the rest, and invent something new for that which I discarded. I can see, hear, feel, think, say and do - I have the tools to survive, to be close to others, to be productive, and to make sense and order out of the world of people and things outside of me.

I own me, and therefore I can engineer me - I am me and I am okay.
