Binding spells

Okay group...what do you all think of casting a binding spell on your significant other? Too possesive? Perfectly okay? Should you throw caution to the wind and make it permanent or leave an "out" in case you change your mind years later? What are your thoughts and what are your ideas for spells in case you have cast a binding spell before?

I actually believe the Rede was only created by those "founders" of Wicca in order to and in hopes of making Wicca more accepted as a religion by Christians with the guise of "We have the same rules/commandments as Christians, so see, we are not evil devil worshippers!" Perhaps, and I would bet, this was the only way Wicca could be considered a religion -- by Christians and the government!
