Favorite Books: I take my relationship with my books very seriously! I'm totally addicted to books of all kinds. I don't really read novels much, but I love how-to books. Anything that gives me more information is great. Oh, and I love cookbooks.

Beliefs / Practices: Spiritual but not Religious, Pagan, Witch

Other Beliefs/Practices: I say that I'm a witch with slight wiccan tendancies, depending on the situation.

Hobbies: Wow, so many! Reading, camping, cooking, entertaining, volunteering, beading, knitting (well, I'm trying to learn this one!), making everyday stuff from scratch (facial cleanser, soap, paper etc.), sewing (trying this too still),traveling...it's a long list.

Heroes: My husband, my daddy, my brother, Martha Stewart and Mary Poppins.

Likes: Ugh, way too long to list here...I'll try later...oh, wait. I do like iced tea, lots of ice, no lemon and no sweetner and imported goat cheese...ok, I try harder next time.

Dislikes: Rudeness. Close-mindedness. Smelly feet. Filth. Brussel sprouts. Coffee. I'm sure I'll think of more later...

A Huge Thank You from San Diego Pagan Pride

San Diego Pagan Pride held it’s annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser this last Saturday at Wine Steals in Point Loma. It was a packed room and the tickets sold out a couple of weeks before the event, which was a first for us!

Everyone seemed to have a great time and we had some incredible donations for the silent auction. We also added a 50/50 drawing which was a great fundraiser and the winner took home $137.00!!

The committee of San Diego Pagan Pride is getting very excited! Our first fundraiser of the year, a Wine Tasting at Wine Steals in Point Loma on February 28th is coming up quickly.

Feelin' My Age...Ugh...

So, I threw my back out on Sunday doing a simple thing that shouldn't have been a big deal. I was getting chili out of the truck and turned to set the slow cooker down on the sidewalk and then...I was stuck. Yep. Right there on the sidewalk, I was stuck.
