Gave up fixing computers!

We finally broke down and bought a new laptop instead. We had planned to all along, I guess we weren't moving on it fast enough, so fate intervened and gave us a little push. The beauty of it is we were able to take down the desk and such where the desktop was set up in the livingroom and gained enough space to add some more seating.

Have to hand it to him - he is good....

Well, I've spent the last 2 days resting in bed. Today I am feeling MUCH better - just a little tender/tight. I baked some cookies, peanutbutter with chocolate chip - per my cousin Brian's request. I bake every week (except during the hottest summer weeks...sorry - we have no a/c and even I am not that good!) , so it's nice to change it up a bit every now and again. So, Brian comes over, grabs his plate for dinner, and some cookies...he gets home, and calls me to ask -

The good, the bad, and the ugly

Well - (Good) Hubby is back to work. He's working odd hours 12-8pm, or like today 2-10pm, but still we're gaining some semblance of normalcy here...well, for us. Personally speaking - I think normal is highly over rated any way :p We've got sprouts coming up from some of the seeds I've gotten started - very exciting. Plus, we'll be able to build the grow lights and sprouting cabinet this week once hubby gets paid. The weather is warming up some - it's nice and sunny outside now and it's a balmy… Continue
