- My name is Wendy~aka~The Faerywatcher! I have found my place in this world here in a small country town in my dream house (a 2 story cabin), that we bought almost 4 years ago. An ever-changing cottage garden with 3 small ponds and 1 stream which I put in over the last couple of years to which I will add to and change AGAIN as soon as I can! I have a "few" animals......19 cats (not all inside),2 LARGE dogs, and 10 fish! All spayed and neutered, well, not the fish.........but if there was a way, I probably would! I have started my own craft business (I think) of making fairy scenes from fallen down trees and driftwood that I find. I embellish them with everything from acorns to pine cones and my latest find~~geodes! A friend's farm is just a hot bed of them. Some I find are already open, but the biggest thrill is taking a hammer and a towel and whacking them open myself! I am certainly not a pro at this, and if I don't crush them beyond recognition, I am left with 2 or 3 pieces out of each one that just sparkles with crystals. It is such a rush to see something that has never been exposed to the elements and my eyes are the first one's to see it!

Anything magical........dragons, fairies, dragonflies, CATS, gargoyles. My favorite colors are green and purple. I listen to just about any kind of music EXCEPT rap or jazz, but especially celtic/new age like Loreena McKennitt, Enya, Enigma, and instumentals. I love a good comedy and most period movies. I am a HUGE fan of The Last of the Mohicans.....the story, the music, and the scenery of which was filmed in North Carolina. My mom and I went to several of the film sites and re-inacted some of the scenes! It was a blast!
