Profile Information

Relationship Status:
Astrological Sign
Taurus sun and moon, Aries rising, year of the Dragon
About Me:
Well as far as my path goes I practice shamanic techniques but I'm not a shaman yet. I lean towards eastern philosophy particularly Taoism. I have a strong connections to dragons whether this makes me a dragon or otherkin or something like that I simply don't know and I don't think it really matters whether I am or not. What matters is that I'm myself at this particular point in time and I don't need names, tags, or titles to define that for me. I'm not really up on rituals or spells although I'm interested in it and have studied somewhat I'm not drawn to it as others are. I am eager to learn more though. My knowledge of the magick or whatever you want to call it is mostly academic and theoretical at this point but I'm always eager to learn something new and I've been thinking about putting an altar together. I'm more of an intuitive practitioner and I haven't felt the need to up till recently to do so. Also I'm into energy work, dreamwork and that kind of thing so spells and such for me at least are for the most part superfluous to my practices up until now. Not that I don't believe they have power and that it is a useful tool, it's just that I haven't felt the need to harness it myself. Although I am thinking of taking it up once again.

I am also a divorced single father with a beautiful, talented and all around awesome (for the most part. ;-))15 year old daughter. She's chosen to live with me, which is awesome even if it is a challenge sometimes, I strive to do my best as her father.

Well that's about it for this little ditty. If there's anything else you want to know just ask.

You are The Hierophant

Divine Wisdom. Manifestation. Explanation. Teaching.

All things relating to education, patience, help from superiors. The Hierophant is often considered to be a Guardian Angel.

The Hierophant's purpose is to bring the spiritual down to Earth. Where the High Priestess between her two pillars deals with realms beyond this Earth, the Hierophant (or High Priest) deals with worldly problems. He is well suited to do this because he strives to create harmony and peace in the midst of a crisis. The Hierophant's only problem is that he can be stubborn and hidebound. At his best, he is wise and soothing, at his worst, he is an unbending traditionalist.

Beliefs / Practices
Spiritual but not Religious, Pagan, Mystic, Shaman, Other Spirituality, Native American Spirituality
Other Beliefs/Practices
Shamanism and Taoism with Celtic and Native American influences especially as far as my practice, mythological and philosophical construct goes of my world view goes. I believe that the divine is all around us and that all you need to do is open your senses to realize that. Because I've seen the divine in the beauty of a sunset over the ocean and on the face of my daughter when she was born.
Is reading really a hobby? I have a wide range of interests I'm not really sure I have any hobbies though. I love to cook and I'm damn good at it too or so I've been told. Lately I've been getting into sailing and I love it and so does my daughter Boo (It's so cool to be able to have those father/daughters moments, she's an awesome kid.). Any time I get to I love to go camping and hiking anywhere. The terrain doesn't matter mountains, desert, plains, forests, beaches or swamps anytime I can spend out in the glory of nature is time well spent. I love just to wander around in the woods surrounded by nature just opening myself to it with all my senses. It has a way of cleansing my soul. I'm really sure being a bit of a comic, humorist, wit, fool, jester, clown and all around smart ass count's as a hobby, but if it does I'm in good standing there.
Carl Jung, Cyrano De Bergerac (both the real one and the fictional one),the Dalia Lama, Edward R. Murrow, Emma Goldman, Martin Luther King Jr., George Carlin, Jack Herer, Joseph Campbell, Lindsey Bradshaw, Martin Luther King Jr., Richard Pryor, Voltaire, Vincent Price, Woody Guthrie and various other people both living and dead are all people I admire for a variety of reasons but I wouldn't really call them "my heroes" so much as influences. I believe a person has take make their own heroic journey in order to find their "true hero".
How did you find PaganSpace?
Just wandered onto it.
