By the numbers: I speak 3 languages, have 3 dogs, and honor the Goddess of 10,000 names. By the book: I have published more than 10 books, including a re-release updated versions of Summoning the Fates (Llewellyn) and The Holy Book of Women's Mysteries (Conari/RedWheel/Weiser).
By day: I read, write, teach in my Dianic University online (www.zbudapest.com), chat with friends, daydream, imagine, create consciousness.
By night: I occasionally host and attend public circles, and am always interested in meeting like-minded women- intellectuals, artists and those who are not afraid of a good debate.

Dianic's Pearl NecklaceZ wears the most beautiful and unique pearl necklaces, made from naturally shaped pearls. Very comfortable and sacred to the Moon Goddesses. Each neclace is hand strung and attached to sturdy clasps. Take a look and get yours! |

Curious in Wisconsin...
I have been trying to find information on my ancestors who were labeled Gypsy by the Sicilian side of the family. My father's mother Alberta Eck was from Little Egypt, near Cairo, Illinois. Hushed tones and furtive glances always accompanied the admission that she was from "German Gypsies" who traveled "along the River Eck". Through my own research I have found that the Eck is actually the confluence of the Rhine and another river, and to the Germans, it is the equivalent of our Mount Rushmore, or the Statue of Liberty, something like the heart of the homeland, a great symbol of pride for the people of Germany.
Do you know of any resources that might help one research the Rom culture or my own family history?
Blessings to you and yours, and Namaste'
