Do not fear the apple anymore. Snakes are a very powerful symbol for women. They are symbols of creation, fertility, transformation, mystery, and sexuality. As snake priestesses we will reclaim these rightful powers by working through the snake.

About Me:
I have been a pagan for around 13 years. I used to be completly a night witch but now my path has balanced in the past year and I now work magick during the light. My heritage is both native american and Irish, so i also study shamanism and Druid/Celtic beliefs. I am a very solitary person when working spiritually. I unfortunatly don't posses the talent for getting close to many people, although I some times wish differently.
I am a massage therapist and also do holistic healing for those who seek it. But my dream is to be a farmer. I love growing things and I want to live off the land.
I am a family woman. My whole world is my two boys. Brenden is 4 and Garrett is 2. I gave them both Irish warrior names:)
I mostly enjoy anything that involves being outside in nature and creating things with my hands.
My life list includes...before I die I want to..
bungee jump
take a fencing class
visit Ireland, and New Zealand
catch a poisonous snake
fly in an airplane
light a cigar using $100 bill (Im not crazy and I don't smoke but it looks cool when they do it in movies:)

Priestess of the Night

Priestess of the Night

I wrap the darkness around my fingers
The night calls my name
Shadows dance around me
playing frieghtful games

The sound of night silence
I can hear my every breath
Black trees glare down upon me
as if planning my death

The spirits of the night begin
playing tricks on me
Tingles on the back of my neck
fear I can not let them see

To break the night silence
is punishable by death
but if I wish to make my mark
I can not hold my breath

I raised my hand up to the sky
feet… Continue

The Lonely Old Grave

The Lonely Old Grave

Skulls with wings
Cherubs in stone
A grave with no name
standing alone

The letters have faded
nearly all gone
Only indents
Where the name was once drawn

No tears touch the soil
Time has past
Wind kisses a stone
whos memory did not last

The stone will soon crumble
Nothing to save
and who will remember
the lonely old grave

For My Sisters That Fly on Broomsticks

We are the seekers
of natures wisdoms found
We are the night angels
with starry tiptoes risen from the ground

We are the finders of the feathers
and daughters of the sacred stone
We are the sisters of ancients
with faithful praise be shone

With arms we raised
in melodic tranquil trance
We join our hands together
in the naked witches dance

Journey to the underworld

Every Samhain my best friend and I do a 'journey to the underworld' ritual. In this ritual we take turns drinking a blood colored juice that we pretend is poisoned. We then go through a spiritual death representing the years past. While 'dead' the other one of us places a blanket over the body and blesses the body with sage. During our death we do a meditational journey to the underworld looking for advice, wisdoms, and etc. We then emerge from our death alive and ready to start the new year.

Dead Roses

i normally don't write alot of poems but every now and then one will come to me... oh and my poems always rhyme...i can't get away from it lol

Dead Roses

Walking through the cemetery gate
ready for my midnight date

Standing next to his grave, he poses
A shadow holding 12 dead roses

Sweeping towards me he looks impressed
Gazing at my black ball dress

Reaching out touching his hand to mine
Feeling cold shoot through my spine

We begin dancing to the crickets song
and the wind singing soft and… Continue

hello there Lindsey

It's nice to know you're doing well in this world and that you're back on track !

Paganspace has become a bit of a stranger to me and I do apologise for not writing sooner. I seem to withdraw and become anti social when going through tough times. I don't want to send out any negativity to others ......i always like to work through my problems first. :)
I have thought about the few friends I have here and I promise you that i have not forgotten about the Ogham staves.........having a problem finding a few of the trees!
Sounds like you've been having a lot of fun ........my drum hasn't seen the light of day for ages :(

I would like to be in touch more with you , for now take care of yourself and those lovely boys :)

Love and light :)

Have you had some good encounters with your dragons?

Peace and love to you this Spring Lindsey, Joanne xx

Hi Lindsey....... I haven't forgotten you or the Ogam......promise :)
Had lots of soul searching to do and have had some problems getting over some bad moments , losing two kitties within one week of each other has been hard on me. Maybe I'm too attached to my animal friends and so am learning how to deal with what life throws up.

Love to hear about your past weeks and your dwellings in the dragon realms. I think the last time we exchanged mail was when your dragon companion saved you from an accident........you have a beautiful insight that works so well with you .
Sorry for being a stranger..... I really must finish the staves and get them to you :)
Take care of yourself ........ Peace and light to you for a super week ahead. Joanne x

I hope your day was full of beautiful new life both green, flowering, animal, and friends on wings.. birds, butterfly, and insect too. I have see and greeted them all today, saying hello and sending them warm rebirth or birthday wishes.

And though I'm late I wanted to stop by and say, 'What are you doing here reading this? Go outside and welcome nature's rebirth.'

So, whether its light of day, sunset, or moonlight.. step outside, take a deep breath of Spring air, and say hello to new life everywhere. Makes you glad you're alive, doesn't it?

Thats very cool! You sound excited which is awesome! Im slowly but surely getting things sorted, still job hunting, but i think things are gonna work out great. I havnt started painting yet, gotta start a full time position first. Ive been focusing on the physical status lately, pulled a back muscle a week ago at work and lost the job, so been exercising daily to get stronger and fit again ready for the next one. Was a shame but everything happens for a reason right? :)

I like your new pro pic! Very cool! So have you started studying something different the? Whats the Dragon about? DB :)
