Im a tall athletic white male of Scandinavian descent. Born and raised in the US state of Washington now residing in the frozen state of North Dakota. I am a wild animal some say. I like to be on my feet and proactive. There are very few other places i like to be other than riding my cruiser down county roads and enjoying the nature in all its glory. I am in love with trees and the mountians and find no other place more beautiful on earth than in the Cascade Mountian range. I am a "lone ranger" kind of guy and have always been considered the "outsider" for as long as i can remember. I am fiercly loyal and honest no matter what the outcome may be. Hmmm...a revelation?...epiphany?...forsight?

i dont know what to call this...except that i see this all tying in together. they were day dreams...that had a meaning of what was to come. ill tell them and maybe you can see what i mean...and ill tell you at the end what i see in them...input never hurts either :D

i was gonna...

i was gonna start posting poems ive written in the past today...
but, with when i went to open my journal i found that it was no where to be found...
the folder was gone...all my songs...poems...short stories...gone...five years worth of memories...gone

someone told me that this is a way to a fresh start. what a hell of way to start over and begin something new...

When I am not sleeping, I am just trying to make it through the day. Of course, VA medicine is no better than military medicine, and it helps some days, while others, it doesn't. There are those times, when I have been asked to do the Flag Ceremony at funerals, for family members, and that is really hard. I have done my older brother's funeral, and my mother-in-laws' funeral, and when you hear Taps, and have to salute, it all comes rushing back. The memories of being in, the fun, and the work, the comraderie. There is something that being in uniform does, something most civilians will never know, and yet, I am so thankful for those civilians who do get it.

I was in from 1996-1999, disabled in boot by a medic, but still worked hard enough to serve on ship, and for two years, on land. I miss it, and I lived in Germany as a kid, my dad was Army. I hear Kosovo is lovely, when there is not trouble brewing. I hope it is peaceful for you over there. You have the advantage of many types of people who practice many different things, if you know enough of the language to get you to a conversation. Just email me, and I will respond.
