About Me:: Thank you for stopping by my page.
I live in a suburb of Portland with my husband of eight years. We have three guinea pigs. I've been here since '99.
My beliefs are eclectic and I tend to be solitary. My mind is open to many possibilities but consistantly I have felt that we are all connected and that there is a creator. Who or what that may be is a mystery to me. I also believe in the possibility of gods and goddesses. As to whether these are parts of the whole, I don't know. Maybe my mind searches for something I can identify with at times. Whatever the case, I am thankful that my prayers are answered and that I am taken care of. I have also been known to seek intercession from saints and family members who have crossed over.
If you have any additional questions....please ask. Now about friend requests: as you can see, I have three friends *which means I'm not taking any more friend requests*. I like keeping my group small because it's more managable. That doesn't mean I don't welcome comments or just a "hello":)

Favorite Books: I have so many favorites, here are a few:
Dona flor and her two husbands, older Stephen King stuff, some Clive Barker, Larry Mcmurtry, Jack Vance's Lyonesse trilogy, books on trivia, etc.

Beliefs / Practices: Pagan

Other Beliefs/Practices: Tarot, numerology, astrology, paranormal, simple magic.

Hobbies: I love to cook, watch t.v., rent movies and web surf. Yes, I'm mostly a couch potato unless I'm shopping :)

Heroes: Anyone who does what is right even if they're afraid.

Likes: Thunderstorms, haircuts, fuzzy slippers, little dogs, hot tea, cereal, picnics, staying a couple days at the coast and doing a little shopping, the aquarium, picking up leaves on a fall day, walking in the first snowfall, warm southern places, cooking, driving on the highway as fast as I can get away with, more things too many to list here.

Dislikes: Movies where they show women as weak and/or a pain in the ass, gossips who don't speak loud enough for me to hear, people who are easily lead, someone who constantly asks for advice about the same thing and NEVER does anything about it, intellectual snobs.

I love the bg, I love that style of pictures..:) Ohhhh I feel so bad I haven't been around here much. Its been crazy..lol The usual. Health sucks but I have the new appt. with a different Dr on the third so I am very hopeful he will take care of things. The boys started back to school this week . My baby started kindergarten !! Its so quiet with him gone all day. I know, enjoy it while I can..lol My older son starts his college classes on the 9th. He is pretty excited. We had a death in the family so its been kinda chaotic dealing with that & all it entails. How have you been? Is the weather being pretty cool for you guys too? Its been werid here. Totally feels like fall. Which I really don't mind since fall is my fav time of year..lol I know I have stayed away from alot of the disccusions lately...Things seemed pretty wild & hairy for a while there !! I've seen some properties -- 5 acres for $20-30K, put a remodeled manufactured home for another $20-40k and we can be pretty much set for the rest of our lives...hopefully pay all that off in the next 10 years, 15 tops. Being off the grid (alternate energy) and self sufficient (farming) and we could save a lot of money for our old age!..or whats left of it!!! LOL but that is a big dream, we need to get there first! I will say, life with the hubby is never boring!!! LOL

I think you'll find that if you listen to your goddess she's tell you what you need to know and where to get help when you need it. You'll probably find you don't need to whinge at your goddess, normal conversation works fine I've found :D
