I am generally a happy little soul, who lives quietly at home. I have a little black cat for company and I grow vegetables and herbs on my roof. I knit obsessively, create things out of clay and like to photograph nature doing her thing. I find these activities therapeutic and a means to celebrate and interact with the Earth.
Hi Hedgewitch It was'nt diffecult to find you with a name like Hedgewitch I love cooking with herps . Being out in the garden and the country side . You cuold say i was drawn to your page a good vibe if you like from Mother Earth. Hope to get to know you better over the next many moons . Take care Keff X
Merry Meet! I love working with polymer clay too! I love the way you incorporated the leaves in your work.
I was looking up Nature Journals on Amazon, and found a book on making your own. It's called "Nature Journals, New Techniques for Exploring Nature, Life, and Memories" by L.K. Ludwig.
It shows how to use different types of medium to make imprints of nature to add to your book. One is made out of a ledger, a scrapbook, or used book. I found the perfect book in our local used book store. The cover on the spine was coming over, it covers all of nature, and has colored drawings inside. Perfect for overlaying my additions. I've pressed some flowers that I will add to the spine.
I plan to order a book on altering books to get some further ideas. When it gets a bit warmer (supposed to this week), I think I'll start on some projects from the book.
Merry Meet You seem to have a love of nature like me . Your clay work Is a complament to Moth Nature herself I my self make things for the garden from wood left to root so I give it a second life I hope . Also added you as a friend hope you don't mind . Take care Keff
