A King with ambitions to conquer all of England had got as far as the Rollrights when up popped a witch. According to some accounts she was Mother Shipton of Shipton-under-Wychwood (c.1488-1551). She challenged the King with these words, “Seven lo...

Avebury is a village in Wiltshire, famous for its neolithic stone circle. The henge and stone circles are thought to date from about 2500 BC to 2000 BC and are roughly contemporary with the more famous Stonehenge 20 miles to the south. The circula...

About Me:
Disclaimer: I am not in any way responsible for the failure of the French to repel the Germans at the Maginot Line during WWII. Nor am I responsible for the recent yeti sightings outside the Vatican, or for the unfortunate enslavement of the Nabisco Inc. factory employees by a rogue hamster insurrectionist group. Furthermore, I am not responsible for the loss of one or more of the following, which may possibly occur as the result of exposing one's self to the statements and thoughts made here: life, limb, vision, Francois Mitterand, hearing, taste, smell, touch, thumb, Aunt Mildred, citizenship, spleen, bedrock, cloves, I Love Lucy reruns, toaster, pine derby racer, toy duck, antelope, horseradish, prosthetic ankle, double-cheeseburger, tin foil, limestone, watermelon-scented air freshner, sanity, paprika, German to Pig Latin dictionary, dish towel, pet Chihuahua, pogo stick, Golf Digest subscription, floor tile, upper torso or halibut.

I love Japanese culture which is why I have a witchy name in Japanese. I love cars and driving as well as ice skating and ice hockey. I also fence (sabre), play baseball, play and have dabbled in teaching guitar and love going to the cinema and cooking. I tend to be laid back and have been described as being a lot like House :insert evil smilie here: I can be found at Avebury a lot and feel like the resident Wiccan amongst the Druids. I can mainly be found over on wiccantogether.

The Sea Witch works with the chaotic forces of nature. Many term chaos evil, especially those enthralled with the powers of light. Here the Sea Witch differs, recognising that chaos, if evil at all, is a necessary evil because the chaotic climatic elements are part of the environment of the sea and life. Sea witches focus on witchcraft relating to the moon, tides, and the weather. As the name implies, sea witches are believed to be able to control many aspects of nature relating to water, most commonly an ocean or sea. However, in more modern times, sea witches can also practice witchcraft on or near any source of water: lakes, rivers, bath tubs, or even simply a bowl of salt water. Sea witches often improvise on what they have, rather than making purchases from a store or from another person. Common tools include clam, scallop, or oyster shells in place of bowls or cauldrons. Other items include seaweed, fishing net, shells, sea grass, driftwood, pieces of sea glass, and even sand.

How did you find PaganSpace?
Mentioned on Twitter

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.

Nice to see another English male Witch on the website ibaramajo, I too go to events with Druids, though they tend to be the minority rather than the majority -the more the merrier!
Good shots of Avebury, have put a few on my page also, along with some from a recent private visit to Stonehenge with my small working group.
Many blessings of light, love and peace ,
Magister.
