Jaded Labyrinth

I work part-time as a Personal Assistant for two different disabled people.
I"m an artist and writer.

I'm a Wife, Mom, Sister and friend to many.

My life is awesome. I'm an extremely happy soul!

I have a deep respect for the elements. I'm aware and thankful of the elements daily, the gift of a shower as the water cleanses my body, the warmth of the fire, the air that fills my lungs and helps sustain my being, the daily gifts form Mother Earth,the spirit of us all. More deeply the majik of the elements.
I love a deep dark mug of morning java, as the bitter taste awakens my sleeping taste buds.
I love the blessing of children. Their open little souls ready to adsorb everything they touch. The way they say what they think, with out deep regard.
I 'm deeply connected to graveyards. I enjoy headstone etching.
I will trod where others will not.
I do not fear death.
I find it amazing to experience what is around me the way a child would. I lay down on the bank of the stream and watch the clouds, with out worry. I don't care if others think it is not the adult thing to do.

I welcome:
The rain outside my bedroom window at night. Soothing as it cleanses and nourishes the earth. Whispering the secrets of the old in my ear as I sleep.
The Sun warming my skin.
The smell of the earth as I dig and plant. The tiny earth worm wiggling in my fingers.
The soft evening breeze as the sun sets.
The beauty of a snow covered winters earth as she sleeps. The bite of the snow on my finger tips.
The Moon as it shines bright. Opening myself to the Moon and receiving ancient wisdom on the moon beams.
The flame of a candle. The smoke when it is snuffed.
The scent of burning oils.
Laughter as it fills the air and sparks happiness. The way laughter even carried on airwaves form somewhere unknown brings a smile to my face.
Hmmmm.....I'll ramble more later, for now I'm off, back to the studio.....for more painting.

To answer a few questions some have asked of me.
Why do I work with the disabled, when the pay is so poor?
It is the most joyous and awesome experience. To be someones eyes or hands, etc. To connect with the souls and very essence of someone that is mentally disabled. The laughter is the purest of all music. When my soul connects with theirs and our laughter fills the air, swirling and curling like smoke raising above our beings.

I love to hug horses!
I love to hold tiny new kittens and puppies! I have bottled feed and
raised many an orphan.
My Great Dane Athena!

I love the connection when you look in their eyes!
I have put my life on the line to save an animal.

I love tea....no sugar please. Hot or cold and many different flavors.

I enjoy getting the grumpy store clerk to smile and talk!

Ahhh......flowers! I just can't keep my big nose out of the flowers!

Family......the winter days where we snuggle in and share or inner most beings......talking and laughing.......playing and napping!

The bunnies playing in my yard in the spring.

Rivers and streams seem to call to me. Lakes that take my breath away!

Most of all.........I love LIFE!
