About Me:

I just recently moved to a small farm town in Kentucky after living my whole life in the big city; I love nature so I'm happy about the move. I'm a college student not sure what I want to major in but seriously considering equine therapy. I love all animals but I have a phobia of lizards, I ride horses and my horse Auto Pilot is my familiar. I'm a bit of a geek, I'm really into the medieval and renaissance era's, I love the Arthurian legends (knights, camelot, merlin etc...), the legend of Robin Hood, and I love fairytales. I'm am artist and a writer. I love to draw and paint, and I like to write short stories, and essays, and right now i'm in the process of writing a novel. I'm a water spirit, winter and spring are my seasons. I make friends easily with people who are funny, smart, nice and down to earth.

Well, first off, I believe in all paths to God. I've been a solitary witch for six years, however, I'm always open to joining a good coven :). I'm a green witch, but I'm also into divination and Gypsy magick like tarot and oracle card reading, scrying, palm reading, and fortune telling using crystal gazing, reading tea leaves etc...). Among others, I worship God, the Earth mother, Bastet, and the Goddess Epona. My mother is a devout Christian and my father is just a Christian. I was raised on Christian values, baptised, sent to bible school, confirmed...the whole nine yards. Needless to say I never agreed with it. My half sister and her mother are wiccans and they taught me everything they know. Along with Gypsy magick, I'm really into Faery magick as well.

Victor Hugo
"An intelligent hell would be better than a stupid paradise."

A few years ago, while visiting or, rather, rummaging about Notre-Dame, the author of this book found, in an obscure nook of one of the towers, the following word, engraved by hand upon the wall:
ANArKH.

These Greek capitals, black with age, and quite deeply graven in the stone, with I know not what signs peculiar to Gothic caligraphy imprinted upon their forms and upon their attitudes, as though with the purpose of revealing that it had been a hand of the Middle Ages which had inscribed them there, and especially the fatal and melancholy meaning contained in them, struck the author deeply. He questioned himself; he sought to divine who could have been that soul in torment which had not been willing to quit this world without leaving this stigma of crime or unhappiness upon the brow of the ancient church. Afterwards, the wall was whitewashed or scraped down, I know not which, and the inscription disappeared. For it is thus that people have been in the habit of proceeding with the marvellous churches of the Middle Ages for the last two hundred years. Mutilations come to them from every quarter, from within as well as from without. The priest whitewashes them, the archdeacon scrapes them down; then the populace arrives and demolishes them. Thus, with the exception of the fragile memory which the author of this book here consecrates to it, there remains to-day nothing whatever of the mysterious word engraved within the gloomy tower of Notre-Dame,--nothing of the destiny which it so sadly summed up. The man who wrote that word upon the wall disappeared from the midst of the generations of man many centuries ago; the word, in its turn, has been effaced from the wall of the church; the church will, perhaps, itself soon disappear from the face of the earth. It is upon this word that this book is founded.
-March, 1831 -Authors Preface to The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Battle with Atheism

Hey,

Thank you to everyone who reads this, your advice is much needed.

The other night I was rolling around in bed trying to get to sleep and my mind wandered to the geology class I had that morning and to the rock cycle we learned about. Everything on this planet works in a cycle; the rock cycle the hydrosphere cycle, the weather cycle, the life cycle etc... Everything is constantly changing, constantly evolving. I started relating this to religion and had an…

A few months ago I moved to a small farm town in Kentucky from the suburbs of Miami. We have twelve acres of land, a barn with a run through, three horses and two goats on the way. My cousins (an older couple) live a block away and have been there for two years since moving from rural Jersey. They own a eighteen acre farm with many goats, horses, farm dogs and barn cats. Well, my cousins have been showing us the ropes of living a country/farm life style and recently gave us a litter of barn…
