NEWSFLASH:
I have started my own free network for magical peeps: www.magicandspellcraft.ning.com I have started work on our free Library too www.magicandspellcraft.co.uk We've only been going for a week so it's very exciting with more joining our community every day and 1300 hits at the library so far.

ABOUT ME
I am glad I have been invited to this beautiful site, and I'm looking forward to meeting you all! My path is the magician's path and I have been a shaman all my life. I am a healer and am qualified in Crystal Healing and energy healing. I also play didjeridoo and drums.

Over time my study and practice of healing has grown into a wide range of work, including Earth shamanism, plant and tree spirit healing, herbalism, aromatherapy and some of the internal and extermal energy arts (I practice Tai Chi and Qi Gong and do a bit of Gung Fu). I meditate every day and see myself as being on a spiritual journey, seeking and following guidance and wisdom. I deeply love nature and the earth, and feel kindred spirit with other forest children. I have always been closely connected and attracted to trees and their wisdom, and yes I talk to them often! :-)

I am a qualified teacher and run workshops from time to time in subjects that interest me such as Crystal Meditation and Shamanism. I am a big fan of positive thinking, including affirmations and the law of attraction and these underpin my work.

I also have a degree in English and I am a writer within the spiritual and the magical. I love art too, having started out as a self taught freelance graphic artist and web designer in the 90s, I have grown into painting and drawing illustrations for my own work for my own enjoyment.

My lifelong practice of magic led me to grow a huge interest in practising spellcraft, divination, and also prophesy, including understanding better the dreamwork that I seem to have done since a little child. I am forever interested in magical theory and practice through history and around the world, especially as it relates to self development and the path of the soul.

Having said all that, I do not believe that it is possible for any of us, myself included, to be an 'expert' or somehow 'superior' in any field of practice, but rather that expertise only comes from truly knowing our own soul, and this can take many, many lifetimes. As Buddhists say, 'the wise man understands others, the enlightened man understands himself'. Knowing yourself is the whole of the work :-)

I have never been initiated formally into any tradition, I believe I came in (as we all do) with the skills and learning already there, and it was just for me to unlock them as part of my own unique path.
