Heroes: My middle son, now home from Afghanistan, but deploying again next year.. But especially my daughter who died from colon cancer on Christmas Day in 2005. I will always miss her so.

Likes: Water, honesty, cloud formations, trust, the moon, hugs, sincere conversations, friends, fresh ripe watermelon, glass of cold lemonade on a hot day ....

Dislikes: My first dislike is a hate ... WAR. But I also dislike people who: think they know everything about everything, think they are better than me, put on fake facades, and hurt other people. I also dislike winter, advertising, & stupid people. But my biggest hate, other than war, is anyone who lies.

Dream meaning?

My dog, an exuberant boxer, woke me up boldly this morning early and I was glad that he did. I was having a very sad dream, so sad that when my teen daughter woke, I cried as I hugged her. The dream was simply this: my oldest daughter (24), who died nearly four years ago, was in my dream (very unusual) and she was dying ... then shortly my teen daughter appeared and she was also dying of the same thing (cancer). Thrifty & frugal ...

Every now and then I get in the mood to browse through a thrift store. Last week I found a beautiful brandy snifter that I now use on my ancestral altar, filled with water. But nothing else even vaguely interested me. But today returning from the library, I stopped at another shop, just on a whim. The first thing I found was a mini brass cauldron about 4 1/2" tall. I was recently reminded that I keep asking all of you for your input about your spiritual beliefs without sharing mine very much ..... so here you go ...
