Lady Gaga was right under my nose!!!

Pop Star Lady GaGa Makes
Thanksgiving Day Pit Stop
at Longway's in Pamelia

23-year-old pop sensation Lady GaGa and her entourage made a pit stop at about 3 p.m. Thanksgiving Day in the parking lot of Longway's Diner, Route 37, in the town of Pamelia, according to Newzjunky sources. Her four tour buses formed a square in the parking lot for privacy reasons during the brief stop, sources said. They declin… Continue

"Now we have to say the God prayer"

We've eaten. I've been cooking since 8 this morning. Did the pies last night.

When we sat down at the table, my youngest 7, told us to hold hands and "Now we have to say the God prayer." I don't even know where she got that.
My husband is athesist, my oldest (16) believes in a higher power (not god), so when baby girl said that, I did not discourage it and I shot my husband a look to not say a damn word. She has a right to express what she will, and I felt this is very heathly for her. Actually… Continue

For the past two days IE hasn't been able to open this or open that. Sometimes refreshing might or might not work. It's almost a complete waste of my time to even get on the web!

What in the hell is going on?!!

I only went to SUNY Potsdam because they offered a full ride because my SAT scores were so high and because I had a year of prior college credit that I earned in highschool, with straight A's. I took Anthropology, Calculus, Chemistry, Arabic, and First Year Experience there, but I had some health problems and had to come back home. In any case, Potsdam is more of a party school, from what I could tell. I also looked at UB which is also in the SUNY system, and it looked pretty decent but I couldn't come up with money at the time.

I hear ya about time. I have a set of 10 essays I have to write for my A.'.A.'. Student exam, only about 5-10 pages each. I really enjoy the assignments, but wow is the research time consuming. Taking much longer than I expected.

Dark fantasy is great. Reminds me of Poppy Z. Brite and similar authors. . .not sure if that's what you mean. If you ever get published, I'll definitely have to pick up a copy of the book(s)! I love collecting books when I can afford it, and a few things in my collection are written (or contain material) by people I know personally, which is always very cool.

Yes, that subscription would definitely be very exciting! Message me for my address if you're really going to do that. Not sure how to say thanks.

What have you been up to lately?

I travel all around on bus, as I have friends in all kinds of places. I actually used to go to SUNY Potsdam, and passed though Watertown on the way there.

Age is definitely a deceptive matter -- it's just a number. An OTO brother I'm friends with is 53 or so, but he is, in a sense, the youngest person I've met. He has this "eternal youth" to him, like he's got the Philosopher's Stone in one of his pockets. Similarly, I've met people in their 30s and 40s who have the maturity of teenagers, and 14 year olds who are smarter and more mature than some (brilliant) people I know who are in their 30s.

What sort of writing do you do? I'm an avid reader/writer myself and am always interested in others with similar interests.

If you're serious about that subscription and it's not too much trouble, I don't think I would decline!

It's a very fun subculture, but there's an unfortunate number of people in other subcultures using the label, which can make it hard to find people one truly identifies with.

I've been interested for some time in subscribing to Gothic Beauty, but can't really afford it at the moment. I do have a subscription to Deathrock Magazine however. It's pretty great, but they need to get their act together with shipping it on time and regularly. Deathrock isn't goth per se, but is very closely related. Rozz Williams is one of my favourite musicians of all time, so I have a strong appreciation for the genre.

What sort of music do you listen to?
