Well where can i start? I have been practising for eleven years now, and through my time have delved into many different traditions and took a bit from each. Not one seemed totally "right" for me so I decided I was mainly elceltic. My patron Deities are Hecate and Bacchus/Dionysus. They are both very dear to my heart. I practice Tarot, herbology(I'm starting to make tinctures now as well as other herbal healing remedies), spellscasting and all around witchery :)
A little about my life as of lately. I have been developing much more spiritually in the past year. I had to live out some bad karma that I brought upon myself that put me in a large rut. I was homeless(living in a coffee shop), broke and had nothing. After feeling that my karma was pretty much square I spoke to the Great Mother and told her I would steer back to the path I was meant to walk if she would please give me hope... then it happened like clockwork. I met my now hubby Brent,got a real job and within a week Brent asked me to move into our 3 story Victorian style home. We then got engaged on Samhain and have been living a normal(as possible) happy life. Since Brent has been so supportive of everything I do I have been able to blossom into what I truly wanted to be...a spiritual being with as much balance as I can humanly have. It has really been a wonderful year.

Living in a non Magickal household can really suck sometimes
Well...I tried to make my own Mabon here at home...needless to say home is not where the heart was today. Today i felt as if something were revealed to me...
This literally happened minutes ago, and the feeling was so intense it almost pushed me to tears. As you may know I am the proud "parent" of two rambunctious and adorable ferrets named Flapjack and Butters. Now before I get started on this whole story I would like to say I have numerous pets thoughout my life, and though I have loved them all dearly, I have always considered them "pets." Maybe it was because they weren't really "mine" more like my parents' pets ya know?

In response to my last post about "customers" and the commentary placed upon it.

The mentality of the customer in this day and age...
Is first and foremost(for the most part) utterly ridiculous. It amazes me how impatient the human race is(especially americans). I have worked customer service in pretty much every job I have ever had(except 1 factory supervisor job) and I see that the trend is getting worse and worse exponentially. People in general have terrible attitudes, even to associates that try and be kind to them. Its absolutely pitiful. Love is definately food for thought
A long time ago I came up with this theory while...lets say "entranced" and it really to me still rings true:
"All things stem from some sort of love. Whether it be marriage or war, both acts are attributed to the deepest of loves."
To me this statement is true...undeniable self truth to me. My reasoning for this is
If you love someone enough you would marry them, die for them, kill for them, or seek justice or vengeance for them.
