- I've been blessed to have found a "TRUE" Mambo who is teaching me Vodou. I've been on my path 28 years.
I have studied ( and still study) Necromancy ,Hoodoo, Lecumi, Demonology, Santeria and various other paths. I'm also ordained and initiated in Wicca, but because i felt drawn to other areas of the occult, i choose to call myself Witch/Occultist. I've created a tradition for my circle that includes the studies of those paths that others find fearful. We study light and shadow. We network with teachers/ speakers who have been on their paths for MANY years and form workshops/classes on various belief systems. As i tell members of the group, you can read books all day, but actually putting into action what you've read will make you stronger in your workings. I've met many who have read books but not attempted any form of spellwork or magicks. I've never understood that. You can be a Wiccan without doing spellwork/magicks because it is a religion but you cannot be a witch without practicing magick. I just don't believe it. I know that there are many who have disagreed with me on this in the past but it is my opinion and i will not waiver from it. I feel that much can be learned from ALL belief systems.
Unfortunately some people still feel that everything has to be all light and fluffy. That irks me to no end because it is an unbalanced way of looking at things. I feel great comfort in darkness.... i always have an always will. . There is much in the way of Sorcerey and other Arts that await me along my journey in this life as well as the next. I look forward to obtaining the keys which unlock those doors...
