This week here on The Spiral Dance, we dance with our Lady, the Earth. After we Give Thanks to the Earth, we're going to look at Earth Magick; specifically the Element of Earth - what that's meant since ancient times and what it means in ceremonial magick today. And we'll look at the tradtions of Gnomes, the Fay and Lay Lines.
And since we're celebrating The Earth, we'll celebrate the Earth Mother and specifically the Goddess Gaia.
And just to liven up the soup -…Continue

Here's my reading for the full moon coming up on Monday. It looks to be a time of being thwarted and a time to face our fears. Don't let problems turn you from your path. They are only temporary or a phase you're passing through. Check it out! I hope you enjoy it.

Every Thursday, I do something I call a Healing Reading and post it on youtube. I usually use both the Vintage Wisdom Oracle deck and the Shaman's Oracle deck, as well as an angel card. This time around I also used a Soul Card. Soul Cards are a new addition to my collection and I find them fascinating. In any case, here is an example of one of my general healing readings--for everyone who is healing, whether from big issues or the small nicks and bruises of the standard workweek. I hope you…Continue

Social media can be a boon to many people…just for general chit-chat and for businesses, the quickest, least expensive way of getting their products seen by the World. Since there is a plethora of social medias out there which cater to the business owner, we are spoilt for choice. We have Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+, and Twitter to name a few. But, what you might not know is, with all the good this can bring to you in your business, it has a dark and despicable downside as well.…Continue

I live in Western Washington, so the weather is cool and moist. I knelt down on the ground to take some of the pictures, and it was wonderful medicine.
I'll keep this short and sweet and just share a few photos. I'm not really in the mood for typing.
Here's a buzzy little busy creature. I saw two of them today. …Continue

I have a load of poetry and other books on my shelves and recently started dabbling in bibliomancy. Bibliomancy is when you want a message from the universe (or ask something specific) and then "randomly" choose a book and blindly open it and point to a passage therein. You open your eyes and try to apply the passage to your life. This procedure is part of something I call "mid week meditation" that I offer as a general reading on youtube. It includes pulling two cards as…Continue

This past weekend my family celebrated my son's ninth birthday. It was a detective/special agent party. There were puzzles, riddles, clues, and a search for the bombs, secret potions and anecdotes, all to save the world. The party had gone smooth and was really enjoyable. The whole family was here and it was wonderful. I took a moment and stood back to watch. Everyone was relaxed and happy. Hubby and my older teens were taking the magnifying glasses and starting the…Continue
The Urban Myth is the subject of this week's show.
Why do we tell eachother such stories? They're always so extreme and fantastic that, really, the rational mind knows they can't be true. But not only do we tell them anyway; we, in fact listen to them as well. Maybe these fantastic set of circumstances just might be real afterall!
The Urban myth has alot in common with traditional myths and folklore, in the way they satisfy a need for storytelling. It may be that the Urban Myth…Continue
