Valentine's Day will be here on Sunday the 14th, so let's pass a couple love notes!
Some people believe that the Ancient Roman holiday of the Lupercalia was the forerunner to Valentine's Day. That's not actually true, but there are some associations so we'll take a look at what the Lupcalia was all about.
Then we'll talk a bit about the Christian St. Valentine - or ValentineS (plural). There was actually more than one Valentine - but were they all lovers??

Right now i feel lost. i want to believe in something but i am unsure what to believe in. I feel as if there are more than just one god that is around me but at the same time i am having a difficulty 'feeling' as if they would help me. I am Autistic, Type 2 Diabetic, i worry about everything and have issues making and keeping friends for whatever reason. I think what happened is somewhere down the line what i wanted got bogged down by other stuff. I don't really care the system or anything…Continue
I think I understand the basic idea behind Blogging...
I am suppose to write something that helps you connect with me on a personal level, that is helpful to you in some manner and that after reading my blog ~ you will have a strong uncontrollable urge to read more of my blogs and make a few comments about how awesome my writing style, topic or I am...
How hard can that be?
Oh and since this is for a site for Pagans... It has to somehow connect to Paganism.…
This is my first blog here. I am a spiritual being who has enjoyed many physical experiences that have effected me in a very deep way spiritually. A wonderful circle of evolution. I have spent time overcoming many challenges and have spent a non-ending eternity of digging deeper for knowledge inside of me and out. I have studied religions, faiths, many spiritual practices, human psychology and behavior, history, biology, sacred geometry and different mathematics,…Continue

That's huge for me, because I have friends that are like family, and I am close to my family. The move and change has turned out to be very good, I am learning to be be free! My boyfriend does not have the same belief system as me, but that has never been an issue.
For the first time in my life, I am in…Continue

One of the hardest parts about living with manic depression and PTSD, as well as other mental illnesses, is having to deal with people who really don't know much about them. I've been living with these illnesses since I was 11 (diagnosed) and have taken it upon myself to learn about these mental illnesses, as well as the others that are recognised in the DSM. I also study sociology and anthropology in my free time. It helps me to understand humankind better. It is still hard to deal with…Continue

We're at the midpoint between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. Perfectly natural to want to jump up and down and start acting like Spring is Here! Folly, pure folly! Watch out if the weather is fine on Imbolc - you might find yourself shoveling the driveway on Eostara!
But before that, let's take some time to honor the Goddess Brigid, the Tripple Goddess of Poetry, Healing…Continue

I have been told for years that I need to run for office. It has always seemed a bit daunting, however I have never believed the lie that all politicians are crooks. I have known many state, local and federal representatives over the years and can attest that perhaps the majority are, and many more are duplicitous, however, that will not be the way I work in Congress.
Those who have read my other blogs know a bit about what motivates me, what issues concern me and a bit about my…Continue
