Merry Meet! I have found this site to be very interesting and helpful. How I can upon this site was totally random which I believe to be a sign that I should have found it. If anyone would like to discuss anything I'm up to it. I'm trying to meet new people and share thoughts.
~I will also be blogging on a daily basis on what I would like to learn or what I feel like sharing.~
It's a nice day to start again!
This week, we celebrate Beltane! Beltane is a festival of Fertility and Love as we welcome the flowering of Nature's Return. In our mythology Beltane represents the Mating of the Goddess and the God. It's The Original White Wedding!
I'll present to you my yearly reading from Marion Zimmer Bradley's "The Mists of Avalon" - this is from Book One, "The Mistress of Magick", pages 176 - 179, which describes The Great Rite at Beltane.

It sucks to be left behind…

I've decided to blog. Don't get excited, I'll probably forget to update this thing.
I've decided to kick things off with something that's been bothering me ever since I've dubbed myself Pagan. I don't like going outside. I do go out from time to time with my LO but I perfer to be inside knitting, or reading. I go outside when I'm at my parents home because it's more secluded and I don't mind camp grounds but I hate public parks or places where there are a lot…Continue
Hi to all my friends
It's so nice to see a bit of sun even if it is somewhat late this year. I've been busy with my planning to move and getting rid of stuff that I have accumulated over the years.
The cheapist way to move is by getting rid of all the things that you don't use anymore and only take what you need. Offering things to people is the easy part but getting them to understand that it is a gift with love and no strings attached is like climbing Mount Everest without…Continue

Checking out at the grocery store recently, the young cashier suggested I should bring my own grocery bags because plastic bags weren't good for the environment. I apologized and explained, ..."We didn't have this green thing back in my earlier days." The clerk responded, "That's our problem today. Your generation did not care enough to save our environment for future generations." She was right about one thing -- our generation didn't have the green thing in “Our” day. So what did we…Continue

Just yesterday there was a full moon and lunar eclipse combination. The significance of this event I can not express how amazing it is, but those of us who are Empathic or psychically inclined in any way. The effects of the full moon span over the entire week whether the moon is full or not but gets gradually stronger as the moon becomes more full. For those who are having issues with being overwhelmed with emotions, thoughts, past memories I urge you to internalize. This is a simple if not…Continue

Just a weird thought ? What would be the magical meaning if you planted a garden food garden inside or on a family members grave? I was just curious not going to do it I did think about, planting garlic for extra energy? Like would they become death Tomatoes?

1. Magick must be seen as energy. The reason is simple, like energy magick cannot be created or destroyed, only channeled and summoned. We as practitioners draw our powers from another source. An Emotion Vampyre for example draws strength from the emotions of those around, the emotion that they prefer differs from individual to individual.
2. Magick is Balance. In the end KARMA balances out the actions of those who use more from one side then the other. Magick is neither…

Moved back home and finally being able to enjoy my surroundings. I found out a lot about myself in these last few months, I'm an empath but I do not care to walk fully in the darkness. Vampirism is too much for me and though I respect others who live in that journey it is not something for me.

Here's some poems I wrote about some of the Orishas that are close to my heart. In English with a few Spanish words here and there, my bilingual brain won't separate sometimes...
Nuestra Señora De La Caridad Del Cobre

I look to you, my golden queen
With offerings of honey and aguardiente
Your prowess in seduction reigns supreme
I look to you my golden queen
Desires manifested with the…Continue

In Irish mythology, the beginning of the summer season for the Tuatha Dé Danann and the Milesians started at Beltain. Great bonfires would mark a time of purification and transition, heralding in the season in the hope of a good harvest later in the year, and were accompanied with ritual acts to protect the people from any harm by Otherworldly spirits, such as those of the Sídhe.
Like the festival of Samhuin, opposite Beltuin on…
This week on The Spiral Dance, we talk about "Creativity". Aleister Crowley famously said "Magick is the science and art of causing change to occur in conformity with will." That is the essence of Magick, and it's the essence of Creativity.
Creativity is Mundane Magick - making ideas take shape into reality. And it's all about how you approach challenges in your everyday life
So, we'll start with some basic definitions of Creativity, and some basic ways that we fail to…Continue
