Call me old fashion, but

I hate swear words in books,  esp. back to back.  And the 2 big ones.  I think it ruins the book.  It's probably why I favor female writers over male writers.   I think it's because I grew up in the Pentacostal church were swearing is a sin and could lead you to lead.   I grew up not cussing.  Also, I get in a meditative state while reading, so the cussing comes across as too negative and it really throws me off.  Unless it's funny, ofc.  You could get away with anything with me, if you're…

The Phantom of the Opera

I just got through reading The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux and DAMN!!!!  It's WAY better than that stupid play; however, I actually did enjoy myself in the Braodway play in New York.  But that's the thing.  The broadway play's version of The Phantom of the Opera was the ONLY play version of the opera that I enjoyed.   The Hollywood remake and the plays you could find online are tacky.

Man, when will the time come when reading makes a come-back????  Honestly, when I…

The Magick of Ho'oponopono

Do you ever feel controlled by past beliefs you have about yourself?

Do you ever say things to yourself like...

"I could never do that"

"I'm not smart enough"…

ProsperityJar-Day7

Today's Prosperity Exercise, another fabulous tarot card! I am loving this prosperity exercise. I have not missed a single day yet. I always manage to find a dollar in change around the house to add to my prosperity jar. The cards that I'm drawing out seem to be so customized to…

MakingTime

This past couple of weeks for me, has been all about coming back to being a practicing witch. Being an every day witch. Over the past year since I've had to go back to a CNA (certified nursing assistant) job in a nursing home setting has just not been a happy time. It's not where I want to be i my life, its not what I want to be doing anymore. Everything about it feels negative. My whole body repulses…

Serving the Goddess as a Mother

There are hundreds of shows that are “reality” based. First of all, we all know that some are scripted to a staggering degree. Scripted or not, there is a trend I’ve noticed that I find very disturbing, especially for a child of the Goddess. It’s the immediate assumption that if you are a stay at home mother who cleans the home, takes care of the home, and takes care of the children that you are being forced into this way of life. To assume that a woman has chosen to be a stay at home mother…

Friend Who Is Trying to Learn About His Druid Ancestors.

Hey Everybody,

I was wanting to make this discussion, but said 'What the hell may as well do a blog post instead.'

Anyway,

I and my friend Danner both were discussing these documents I have been reading up on that another one of my friends shared with me. My friend is trying to get closer to his Druid ancestors by wanting to do the spells his ancestors did. What his Druid ancestors did was practiced magic using Runes to help harness different spells and use them to also…

The Phantom of the Opera book

My favourite quote in that book would have to be, "She is singing to-night to bring the chandelier down!" by the O.G. :3

Currently up to chapter 8.  The 2 managers are the best part.  They keep the book funny.  I mean, even the O.G. was somewhat funny.   So, I love the humor bits.  I love laughing my arse off.  I must say that the movies and the plays SUCK in comparison to the book.  The book is MUCH BETTER.

Blessings coming when needed...

I know the Goddess watches over me but lately its especially when it comes to my finances.  I admit it I have a minimum wage job but where I live thats all that is available....I have worked hard all my life and for some reason this year has been the hardest on me financially with my daughter graduating, senior trip, senior pictures, prom...and yet...I am finding myself with my head above water...

I know many people who are in the same position as I am yet they are beyond…

The Art of Dying. By;- Mike j Hughes

I have come to realize the fact that people are dying everyday with no one at their side helping them cross over into the astral world when the physical body is left behind to return to its elemental source.

With those who are earthbound, in the ,-[ kama-Loka ] ,- which , can sometimes, be a state of utter confusion wherein the dis-embodied Ego may not realize it has…

Heavy heart.

Last week I was alerted to the fact that a childhood friend of mine had passed away. I'd spoken to him several months ago. Not for a while though. We weren't overly close but it was still a shock to learn of his passing.

Then I found out a member of my family is having problems with their heart - I cannot say which family member for this person hates the internet and doesn't want their name published online. I have been very worried about this…
