Does Karma Actually Exists?

Karma is considered a belief that whatever you do will come back to you, either in this life or the next. It is embraced by followers of Buddhism, Hinduism, and in modern days nearly everyone believes in some sort of karma. For example pagans/wiccans believe in "The Rule of Three, which states that whatever energy a person puts out into the world, be it positive or negative, will be returned to that person three times. Even some…

back to the grind

As the title gives away that is what today is about. Time to drag ourselves out of that long weekend and get back to whatever. For me it's playing in the dirt and I don't mind at all. Much worse things I could be doing, trust me I've done a few to know first hand. Had to wade through things like working on a turkey farm though to find where I belong. Now that I'm here you won't hear me complain. Much. Everyone is entitled to a little grumbling afterall. Even if you love your job like I do.…

My Journey

We are all on a journey. We have all traveled roads to get to where we are today. Only we can take this journey and no one can do it for us. This is my journey..........

I was not raised in a Christian home. My parents did not attend any church except for a funeral or wedding. I did however,…

Silent Too Long

I may be just one voice speaking in the wilderness, but Lord and lady both know, I am busy being a stand for healing the planet. This in turn must lead me back to family and my roots, so here we go again, I will make the foray into the digi-realm for my pagan tribesmen and womyn. We have been experiencing exactly the types and kinds of disasters worldwide that make sense in a spiraling out of control climate would suggest and there have been many interesting facts that have come to light…

back to rambling

  • Got a little sappy yesterday I know but it happens. I 'm a sentimental sort of guy who likes to see substance in most everything. Proably why I'm still single but let's not wander down that path. I didn't log in for that purpose today. Instead I swung in to say I hope it's a great one for all of you out there and a  great holiday for those of you here in the States. For me personally it means a paid day off from work. Can't really complain about that. Until we meet again then.…

Rewriting the Myths

It has long disturbed me after my conversion to paganism that such intolerance was being preached from pulpits all over the world. A message of labeling people who did not believe as they believed as evil, people to be avoided, shunned or worse.

But I feel now that we as pagans have an awesome responcibility and opporitunity to re-write all of the old myths about our people and our path. We can show through our works and our love who we really are a people. Paganism is growing…

Honeysuckle Evenings

I live in the southeastern part of the United States. Here the daytime temperatures are already in the upper 80's and the humidity is over 60% almost every day. That in itself can be miserable but one positive thing is that late in the evening, just before sundown a wonderful thing happens. The wind settles…

simple things

It doesn't take much to make me happy I'm realizing. Maybe it's because I didn't grow up with much or maybe it's because I've realized we don't need all the excess. Sure it's nice but really we can be perfectly content without it. I can at least. Take today for example. It's raining and cloudy, no doubt putting kinks in folks holiday plans for the moment. Upsetting them simply put. I on the other hand am lounging here writing this, perfectly content. Well I am missing a sweet, fiesty chick…

drawing some weird symbols...

I've always loved to draw. for me its away to get creative and helps me calm down if I've got negative energy or too much energy flowing throw me. but recently I've been drawing this symbol, it seems familiar to me but I don't remember if I've seen it any where else before. more then that, it has an odd feel to it. not a bad one... just a very protective one, some what powerful and always relating to night-moon-stars. when I see it I get I sense of protection and sadness.. and I'm not sure…

Childhood Memories

As a child I played almost every weekend at my cousin's home. Their home was surrounded on three sides by woods. We would run through the woods and swing on vines out over the creek. Make playhouses and use our imagination to play for hours. Nothing like being out in the wonderful outdoors running around and…

Fairie Gardens

Having knee problems that prevent me from being able to kneel or squat, plus the fact that now I live in an apartment, I am very limited as far as having gardens of any kind, so I decided that I will do container gardens. My balcony only gets a couple of hours of son a day & that's if the sun is even out, so this really limits what I can do or grow.

I decided seeing as my partner works for a company that grows miniature & specialty veggies & herbs that get delivered to high end… Continue

Death to Laziness

So I've recently finished my first year of college and have started my summer holidays and I have to say that it's very nice to have a break. I worked hard this year and I think I did well in my exams and next year I will have to work even harder. So right now, I'm enjoying the rest afforded to me. But the line between rest and laziness can sometimes get blurred and for me, I slip into laziness all too often.

I am very much a plan-maker and unfortunately, not really a plan-keeper. At…

The World of Magick

Magick requires a certain etheric connection to the sacred and spiritual. It is not necessarily about the tools that you use but more about the mentality and the state of your environment. It's more psychological than we give it credit for. It's really all in the will of the magician. While other forces are at play, and knowledge of the previous rituals and spells is helpful. I am under the impression that magick works through resonance and psychometry is a useful ability in this work. I…

Paths Through Life

I try to uncomplicate life by keeping it simple and look at things through the eyes of a child with awe and wonder. We all travel a path through life and this is the way I look at it.
