I wanted to take a moment to say to all of you, I wish you the happiest of holidays, as we all gather to celebrate Lammas. I am very thankful that many of my well laid plans didn't go off balance and fall apart.
I hope to continue saving the money we'll need to move.
I also hope for the weather to be more helpful to the farmers here in the south. They are getting hit really hard by the recent droughts, and I would like to see the pressure come off.
Blessed Be friends

Everything was gathered in so it could be stored for the Winter, meat was…

"The fact that I can plant a seed and it becomes a flower,
share a bit of knowledge and it becomes another's,
smile at someone and receive a smile in return,
are to me continual spiritual exercises."

Some days I don't know if I will get through it. Hoping being here my give me a little hope or steer the ship in the right direction.
OMG What to say is an under statement! I can believe it has been almost 3 yrs sense I last posted anything. My friends must think I deserted them or fell of the face of Earth I am truly sorry. I have popped in a couple of time but did not post or let you know I was still kicking around.
Things were very hectic in my life the past few years to say the least. I am hoping things are starting to settle down some. I care for my extended family and at least 1/2 have issues medically,…Continue

I have a belief that all my life I've lived a "Witchy" life style (not Wiccan), I just never realized it until a book was set in front of me to tell me "Hey, you actually do have a religion." At least, that's the way it felt. I've read and read and read... but I miss something in these books (most are Wiccan based because at the time that was all I knew to research). Yes, care for the Earth Mother, for without here, we would not be here. Yes, magick is energy that must be worked with and…Continue
* MM = Merry Meet*
Round shape for wheel of the year, cycle of seasons*
Skins are different colors, but the inside is the same chocolate, because we are all related.*
Associations with the colors: Red = South, Green = West, Dark Brown = North, Yellow = East, Orange = For the Solar God, Light Brown = For the Earth Mother (Copper Woman)
* Rotate the M & M: M = 13th letter of alphabet, and there are 13 witches in a coven
3 = Triple Goddess,…
How sad is it that I've dedicated myself to paganism for the last several years, but never really "knew" who and what I believed in...until just recently. I always felt as if I was someplace other than "home" spiritually. Then...
I guess you could say that I was having a mid-life crisis, my birthday was rapidly approaching and I was about to turn 47 years old. Married, children, pets, the usual...but...I'm also a college student and recently unemployed. Well...I bucked up and…

When Night comes and a sense of peace overwhelms my soul
Soon to drift off to sleep in the knowledge that Bel the Horned Father
Whose horns pierce the heavens will guard me as I lie
I rest safe in the bosom of My Clainn, My Kindred, My Chosen
My true family, Brothers and Sisters all, the Faith, The Friend and the Family

Olaf the Lawbreaker (“St. Olaf”) was killed at the battle of Stikklestad on this date in the year 1280 R.E. Olaf acquired a reputation for killing, maiming, and exiling his fellow Norwegians who would not convert to Christianity, and for carrying an army with him in violation of the law to help him accomplish his oppression. Today many of us honor those who died because they did not wish to leave their ancestral ways…

There are many different ways that we can learn lessons. A method that may work for on may not work for another. Learning through pain and suffering is only ONE way to learn and it is not necessarily the CORRECT way to learn a lesson. Unfortunately, we have been brainwashed as a society to believe in "No Pain, No Gain".
When a parent is trying to teach a child that the stove eye is hot they do not take the child's hand and slam it down onto a…Continue
