Two new titles from Moon Books. Any links that show up in this post have been added by the website, I have no idea where they will take you. I'm not adding links, to help with the clarity on this score. The titles below are all the usual places that sell books - as ebooks and paperbacks - and can be ordered from bookshops should you so desire.…Continue

So many times I've heard that all are one. No one calls to me. No one shows their face(s) to me. The wind blows and the eerie silence seems to be the answer every time. Going through an existential crisis was something strange to me, and it all seemed so pointless. All we have to learn is we are a part of nature & not separate. The art of living itself is a joke.
There is always the art of following your roots for a small piece of enlightenment. Sad to say, all roots are…Continue
Here's the back history... (and any links are added by the site and will not click through to take you to the books - you can get these wherever you normally buy…Continue
This card looks rather peaceful and powerful to me. When we think of the High Priestess, we think of a woman with power, knowledge, and has the key to the secrets held within us. The key meanings of this card are: Wisdom. Sound judgment. Serene knowledge. Common sense. Serenity. Objectivity.…Continue
On this week's show it's Lammas, when we celebrate the beginnings of the harvest season. This Sabbat is about the cycle of birth, life, death and rebirth -- the grain god dies, but will be reborn again in the spring.
Depending on your tradition, you may also observe this Sabbat as the day of the Celtic craftsman god, Lugh. Lugh was known to the Celts as a god of craftsmanship and skill -- in fact, he was known as the Many-Skilled God, because he was good at so many different…Continue
As the persons who follow or read my blog I like making my own supplies. But on the odd occassion I sometimes buy a store/shop product.
The most known being Florida water. I bought the Lanman & Kemp, a chinese brand Butterfly sold at oriental grocery shops and a bottle Benjamins made in Jamaica sold in UK, all 3 smelled different. The L & K is I think the best one. But I do prefer how it smelled back in the 60's and 70's when they used natural real essential…Continue
There is a sphinx in the center displaying a wheel with a snake on the left and a wolf on the right. Below the wheel and the sphinx, is a bull and a lion that lounges around on the clouds. Above the wheel and the sphinx, is an angel and an eagle. Wheel of Fortune usually means luck, destiny, and fate related…Continue

This is derived from the minor arcana section, which means these cards focus more on everyday life. As with the major arcana, they handle the bigger issues in our life's journey, or are the heart of the reading. None are more important than the other, and they both are just as…Continue

For those who read my blog regularly, monday is the day I make supplies. Today I added some ingredients to my Summer incense blend some dried strips of peels/rinds of orange and lemon. Some thyme from my garden. I did not plant thyme guess a bird left some seed and a little plant of thyme grows on my patio area. For weeks I had been thinking about buying some herb plants this year. Made some colored sands green , orange and peach colors, for my incense burner using food coloring. Sand is…Continue

I so need to get this off my chest: Eclectic witch is not a bad word. Some practitioners fail to understand that witches can be called by many deities and spirits. Yes I am a witch who incorporates both Hoodoo and Voodoo into my practice. I have been called by my gods, some Lwa, as well as the Gede. I came to all with both reverence and respect, also as a witch, not as an initiate of Voodoo. I don't understand what is so hard for some practitioners to grasp. I do not tend, exclusively, to…Continue
