Alright I'll admit it. Today I'm feeling sluggish. No way around it though. Bills after all do not pay themselves. That said away I go. Enjoy your day if you can. If you can't hell it only lasts for around nineteen more hours. Until our paths cross again. Blessings.

The Stars of Autumn

This week let's look skyward and see what's up there, as we talk about the Stars of Autumn.

Every season brings different views of the Heavens, and Autumn is no different. And, the Stars of Autumn bring their own stories and myths. So to start this week, I have a poem written back in 1819 by the English Romantic poet, John Keats. In his poem, "To Autumn" he captures the feeling and spirit of this season.

Then we'll talk a bit about Astronomy itself, and one view of how why…

My 2 Goddesses of Samhain

Two Goddesses of Samhain-

Morrighan and Hekate

Hecate/Hekate

Hymn to Hekatê

Hecate enjoys something of an ambivalent and confusing position because it is not extremely clear as to whether she was considered a night-demon or a dark goddess.

Although some Greeks referred to her as Hecate, others…

I wake to rain falling outside my window. A very plesant, very welcome sound. Though I doubt its enough to get me out of work for the day but after more then a month without any rain I won't grumble about that. Much. Now on to the good vibe giving. Until our paths cross again. Blessings.

Religion VS: Atheist

What A subject to tackle!

let me state first that I am writing this from a perspective. Not one opposed or in line with religious ideas. I try and keep it honest and with some perspective. I can't always keep out my own prejudice from what I write, but I do try.

If I have to state it, I profess to be atheist, but that is because I have not yet found myself fitting into one or other religion. I am not diametrically opposed to religion, nor am I for any particular…

Poem

In the end even the heart stops.
It was broken a long time ago.
It was given to the one he loved
She took it and shattered it.
She didn't care about the outcome.
She only cared about herself.
So now all there is to fill it is hate and pain.
Before long it shall consume him.
All that will be left is ash.
So the heart does stop beating once it broken.
Nothing helps him but his own pain.

My GPS is taking me down the LHP and I've never felt more alive

Everything in my life thus far has been dictated by social norms and the close watch of "those who know what's best for me". My witchcraft has been kept a secret, my desires have been suppressed, my beliefs remained inside... all in the name of Christianity. But now? Now... Everything is different. Something inside me clicked, and I feel free.

I'm the only person I aim to please now. There is no god in my world who has the power to make my desires a reality. I'm not going to pray to a…

Ticking Clocks of Time

Shifting tides pulling us to abide

Passing thoughts almost forgot

Visions unclear but felt most sincere

This is the place where once laid grace

Lost in confusion of infinite illusions

Wearing thin fighting to begin

What once shone the breath of life

Has been wrought with strife

A struggle in fear of seeing oneself clear

Hiding in…

out of hospital had a platelet transfusio and something CBC looking for natural remedies though

Trying to find anything anyone knows on herbs or natural ways to raise the platelet count. Right now I am looking at papaya leaf extract and omega 3 or fish oil. I have heard spinach as a possibility but looking for any herb or tea mix can do to raise my platelet count. I do not want to die from this. The doctor had called yesterday and told me if I do not do this treatment they were doing today I would end up dying from my platelets dropping down to 0.

I had to listen to her…

My Ghostly Encounter On Mabon

I wanted to share what happened to me last night since it was so overwhelmingly powerful.

I went to one of my friend's Mabon rituals that was being held in her backyard [which was quite woodsy and beautiful might I add] and it was the first time I went to one of her rituals. The ritual itself was set up in a more celtic manner, for we called in the ancestors, the nature spirits, and the gods as well as the elements. In the beginning, they were…
