Thought this would be the ideal time to blog as I have so much going on.
This evening we had two of my husband's work colleagues to dinner, meal for four & lots of lubrication.
Tomorrow is Samhain(well actually it's tonight now).I have an unexpected guest for the weekend,non-pagan but not a problem for those who are.
I'm hosting my group's Samhain ritual(have written the ritual, cleaned the bathroom, laid in the supplies of food & alcohol) followed by a celebration, quite… Continue

Based on a story in the Bible, the painting Saul & the Witch of Endor (Salvator Rosa, 1668) depicts an incident where Saul, the King of Israel, consults a sorceress who summons Samuel's spirit to tell Saul his future.…

Last year Halloween was unseasonably warm so I decided to make apple cider slushies instead of hot mulled cider. Early in the day I made ice cubes from cider and used those with chilled apple cider in a blender to make a slushi-smoothie drink. Garnish with apple and enjoy! It was yum and hit the spot after trick or treat.

My body is full of so many mixed emotions am I good or bad…. I think about the dark ways and it gives me an orgasmic feeling. But yet I know it is wrong and the only thing I want to do is help people and make them happy. I sometimes wonder that maybe I’m a warrior angel of god to help protect the weak good and innocent soles.
I have feelings of hurting people and making them feel the pain that that have infected on other people and for some reason have joy watching them in pain… Continue

I just saw a screening of http://www.whodoesshethinksheis.net/
The director is Pamela T. Boll who is best known for her work the documentry 'Born into Brothels'.
This flick was really interesting, especially for women, and especially for women who have partners and who have or are planning to have children. I'm thinking you should check it out if a screening comes near you. Right now this film is being self-produced, and may be self distributed as well.

Yes, Jerry,. there are huge glitches.
Ever since the "improvements"to PaganSpace were made I have one problem after another when I want to sign in to the sites I have been with. I tried the HELP, but could not be helped since I am unfamiliar with the Abbreviations I
was asked about.
My e-mail comes up in different spellings, correct one included, and really it would be sufficient. I add my password and then the infamous: "no account" comes up. Sorry, but it is so frustrating that… Continue

Hey Everyone, I am so excited for Samhain and FPG. I will be camping with the Vikings but I will be staying in one side of cabin 3. I am bringing my massage table to help anyone who is in pain and needs some love. I AM NOT A VENDOR! I do my work for love donations and to give back my gifts of healing back to our community. I do specialize in Medical massage and neuromuscular ( which can be also called acupressure or trigger point therapy)and also sports injury. Let me know as soon as possible… Continue

I didn't know whether I was really offended or really amused when I saw this. Either way it's enough to post as something appropriate for Samhain because the truth is if you go back far enough down the genetic line there's a bit o witch in everyone I suppose. Scary. . . .

Oct. 28, 2008: Stop! Take your finger off that doorbell. Something spooky is happening behind your back. Turn around, tip back your mask, and behold the sunset.
It's a Halloween sky show.
On Oct. 31st, the crescent Moon will sneak up on Venus for a close encounter of startling beauty. The gathering is best seen just after sunset when… Continue

Build that wall so tall and wide
Block me out leave my side.
Hear nothing, feel nothing, see no truth
Lock out the pain from an emoutional youth.
Pain you'll stop, but hurt wont heal.
Someday you will have to deal.
I'll be there then, as I am now.
When you are ready, I will show you how.
We are not meant to walk this life alone.
If you open your eye's all will be shone.
Yes there is pain and regrets that's… Continue

Tony broke up with me because of the long distance and because he thought I wasn't paying enough money for the gas when that was all I could afford since I work part time only a few days a week. I am still hurting but after meeting with him on Wed and going to the Just Guys I felt better and decided I was better off without because he sent me a hurtful email. I know it's cause he is hurting too but if he won't understand my financial situation then it's not worth it.

Do we show each of these in our life: wisdom, piety, vision, courage, integrity, perseverance, hospitality, moderation or fertility? Do we live them in the good times and hardships?
We all know what the virtues are and most of us have gotten far enough along or completed the Dedicant path to know what they mean. But how often do we relook at them and ask, “Are the virtues in practice in my life?” I for one find myself at times having to go back to them and relook at my… Continue

This poem was written for me by my friend Marta. I love and miss her very much. Sometimes we make choices in our lives that remove people we once loved from our circle. i understand that she had to make that choice and I hope that she is always happy and blessed wherever she is. She is always part of my circle and this poem reminds me that she is always with me.
Silent Garden, Secret Walls.
There is a place in my heart,
Quiet, serine and still.
A silent… Continue

Scorpio to Taurus -- moon cycle
Posted on 2008.10.29 at 09:50
This moon cycle from Scorpio to Taurus and back down the waning moon to Scorpio again. Taurus is about what we own, Scorpio is about what others own that affects us. Taurus is earth and Scorpio is water. Taurus is holding onto what we have and Scorpio is about letting go of what we don't need.
The Goddess of this new moon is Hlin, who is passionate, intense, protective, secretive, and who carries both shield and… Continue

YaY! I am headed back to Wyoming today! I miss it though Savannah is lovely. It's WAY too big for this small town Wyoming girl. Give me the wide open skies, please! And being able to walk a block or two without encountering hundreds of other people. Or the beggers on the street corners. I kind of did enjoy the street musicians, I must say. And frankly, Wyoming lacks this sort of ambiance. It has it's own stark beauty and racous history, but not the cultural diversity of the East Coast...… Continue
