"Stay if you will. Leave if you must." A good spell to get haunted!

Years ago, a regular client of mine asked for help on behalf of his employee. The employee's house was terribly haunted and his wife had just had a baby. The couple wanted to have their place blessed so it would be a much safer haven for raising their future children.

So while I agreed to help, the moment I walked into their home, the hair on my arms stood up. I had the creepie-crawlies tingling up and down from my scalp to my toes. It was a physical reaction I had never…

Dark Queen

The Dark Queen comes in the night to your place of rest. She has her maidens that prepare her way. Once the air is sufficiently fixed, she overwhelms her subject with deep desire.

Who is this Dark Queen that touches our heart? Is she some thoughtform we create ourselves? Maybe her roots run deep into the past. Ancient cultures have recognized her abilities and respected her ways. Is it Nyx, Lilith, Hekate, Kali, Inanna, Tlazolteotl, or some other name? Whatever you wish to call her,…

Babaji and Brahma

In another in a series on the ancient life of Babaji, the Mahavatar known to students of the Self-Realization Fellowship, I would like to clarify the meaning of an often-told myth about the creator god Brahma. At first he had five heads, four of which faced outward at the points of the compass; the fifth was in the center and probably functioned as a symbol of transcendence. When Brahma looked at his daughter with lust Shiva punished him by cutting off the…

An Interview with Kama Deva

A frequently told myth about Kama Deva, the Hindu god of love, tells us that he is “Ananga”---limbless---because he shot his arrow of love at Shiva, who had withdrawn into an unceasing meditation after losing his first wife Sita. Ostensibly Kama had acted on behalf of all the gods, who wanted Shiva to marry Parvati in order that he might have a son who would one day save the world. Reacting angrily, Shiva destroyed Kama with a stream of fire from his third eye.…

Hot vs cold

It is a time of heat or of cold, of eternal summer or winter. It is a time of life or death. While out strolling one hot summer evening at sunset, my hearing was molested by a tree full of cicadas. The noise was deafening. A single cicada can produce a sound of 120 db (decibel). This tree must have had hundreds of cicadas.

There are some 3000 species of cicadas worldwide. Some species are periodical and only emerge from Mother Earth in cycles, for example, 13 and 17-year cycles. Other species are not fixed to a cycle and emerge annually. The noise making cicadas are the males…

A Lammas Celebration

Blessed Lammas, everyone! At this Sabbat many Wiccans and Pagans celebrate the First harvest. This Sabbat is about the cycle of birth, life, death and rebirth -- the grain god dies, but will be reborn again in the spring.

Depending on your tradition, you may also observe this Sabbat as the day of the Celtic craftsman god, Lugh. Lugh was known to the Celts as a god of craftsmanship and skill -- in fact, he was known as the Many-Skilled God, because he was good at so many…

In general humans are unhappy

I often ask myself, why do humans destroy their own bodies and take drugs, eat unhealthy, live small lives, alcohol, party too much, etc...

It's because they're not happy with their own lives. They have to work in a daily job, doing the same things over and over again. Then they come home and don't know what to do. So they smoke, because they're stressed, or they drink coffee to stay awake and to have more time of the day. In the evening they drink alcohol and party, cause they didn't…

Looking for Fellow Satanists/Dark Pagans

I'm on the lookout for local fellow Satanists or dark pagans who might be interested in hanging out, chatting, exchanging ideas and beliefs, and learning/communing together. I am limited as to what I can do at home, due to living with a Christian family, so I'm also on the lookout for possible ritual partners or groups who have the space and the freedom to practice and learn anything. Looking for HEALTHY groups or covens. I am Sex-magick and ritual orgy friendly. Spiritual sadomasochist…

Lynx Killing

While watching one of those real time police shows on TV, this one was following cops in Alaska, the cops responded to a call about a dog being attacked by a lynx. The dog was not killed, it was bloodied up a bit, but it was going to recover just fine. The cops decided that they needed to kill the lynx because it may attack a child or another dog. The first thing that came to my mind is that the dog probably chased the lynx and provoked the attack. Don’t kill the lynx for protecting itself.…

I've been through a lot in my life and have a lot of people that, in my mind didn't deserve to be forgiven.

Recently I've found myself thinking otherwise and even had the Goddess tug at my heart strings, urging me to forgive.. Forgive but not forget. We forgive to free our own minds of the negativity caused by others. At least that is what I have come to know.

Out of no where a few days ago I began to sing under the moonlight, I often sing to vent pent of feelings or…

While out walking the other day, I came upon a Great Blue Heron feeding on little fish in the stagnant waters of the woods. It really is a majestic bird and one can see how scientist believe some dinosaurs evolved into birds. The heron is a very widespread species in North America. It can be found from Canada to Mexico. The Ancient Aztec mythical homeland, Aztlan, is translated by some to mean the “Place of Heron.” A seasoned Aztec warrior wore a special hair-style that included a…

Knowledge between good and evil

What is life?

Why do we suffer?

I think there are too many questions and way too many answers.

Humans make up their own stories and so do I.

Animals don't do that kind of stuff... they just live and follow their instincts. If they are good or evil doesn't matter to them. They don't care, but we do. We care about cars, houses a safe environment and all in all money. Because money can get you everything. If man wasn't born with an evil inclination, they woudn't buy…
