The 700 Club

It is weird that I watch the 700 Club sometimes? I watch it like I'm 'scoping out' my competition if that makes any sense. I guess I kind of like to prepare myself for the next crazy crap that may sneak up on me in public.

Tonight they are talking about the signs of the antichrist.... I find it interesting their interpretations of different versus in the bible.

On a different note: St Louis Pagan Pride has gotten a facebook page up, a website and we are hashing out…

Holy Spaceballs Batman!

Seriously my head is spinning from everything that has just taken place in the last 8 hours.

1. I got approved and am now on a long journey to creating the Pagan Pride Day 2012 for St. Louis... how f-in exciting is that?! I'll tell you how exciting.... really. I mean really exciting. Now I just have to find a co-coordinator or two to help me get the ball moving. Its a year away but not a minute too soon. I'm so excited.... seriously.

2. I'm finally getting…

My greatly needed vacation...

For Lammas we went to Myrtle Beach, SC with a bunch of my christian family members :P We lit Chinese lanterns, harvested shells, sand and water and generally had a really good time. My xtian family also lit lanterns with us, obviously not for the same purpose but it was nice. We also shot off a ton of fireworks too.

The trip itself was really good, it was the first time our 20 mo. old son has ever been to the beach and boy did he have fun?! He was tumbled about, rolled around and…

Getting over that hypocrisy

So the other day we had a meetup with another coven and some interested folks. Let me first say that the "H.P." of the other coven use to be Catholic, he still is very Catholic to me. He keeps that same mind set and basically has introduced a more prominent female to his belief system but that is about it. He has a lot of animosity towards Xtians though... like most in this belief system. I'm guilty of it like anyone else, something happens and I get bitchy about it... those dumb over…

An update...

My personal life is well, pretty boring. Its my spiritual and business life that is on crazy mode lately.

We, the coven, went on our first field trip to Luna Herb Co., its a small 5 acre farm about an hour away from us. We gathered all the kids, booster seats, bottles, juice cups and all the adults plus one thermos of coffee. We got on the road a little late but made up some time on the way. The farm is awesome, we are planning on making it a monthly field trip from now on.…

I'm more of a 'hands on' person.....

I learn by doing. Let me take it apart so I can figure it out again. Point being though it is difficult in our religion to find teachers that can really give you the experience you may be wanting.

I am happy in my religion but I want to learn more about Native American Belief Systems, my great grandmother was Indian, Waccamaw to be exact. I've always been drawn to Native American ways since I was a kid, actually it started before my interest in Egypt. For some reason I've had…

Had a tarot reading done....

When I was 16 I went to some little shop and had my tarot read.... it was uncomfortable and was very inappropriate, it was so disappointing that I never really wanted to get my tarot read again. I always felt like I could do it better myself and that it was just a waste of time and money.

I had recently bought a book called Witches Bag of Tricks... it was just the thing I needed. Then I got to meet the author at St.Louis Pagan Picnic, she signed my book and I found out she…

Its awesome how things turn out....

For any of you that read my blogs you'd of read that I was having some issues with my neighbor Travis... I had finally had enough and call the police on him. Word got around pretty quick that I called the cops on him and I had had enough, I was putting my foot down and not putting up with any more of his shit.

A few days later while cleaning up the yard after a storm I went to drop off some natural debris in our communities little swamp, my truck got stuck and a neighbor came to…

Atleast now he knows I'm serious....

So like I knew it was going to happen.... my neighbor and his friends wandered into my yard today. So I called the cops, they came and where super nice. Asked to see the bi-laws which I called around and got a copy real quick since I couldn't find mine and while I was doing that he went out there to get his side of the story and of course he said I was wrong etc etc.

Well when I did find a copy of the rules and gave them to the cop he read them and said they where not defined…

You gotta be kidding me.... (update on shitbrain neighbor)

So today the neighbor sent me a text saying that I was wrong and 'they' explained it to him that four feet around the entire lake is public property and that anyone can use it at any time. So I called the secretary of the association again to ask. Once again I was told I was in the right. I tried to correct him and gave him the names of the people I've been talking to. I asked him where in the rules it said what he was describing I also asked for who had explained it to him that…

So Pissed I'm bound to do something evil....

This has been a long standing issue... my neighbor, Travis.

At first I was mildly attracted to him, I'll admit, I was lonely and in a new place, I had a moment of weakness. Now I hope he falls of a ladder at work, I cast a thousand curses on him if not more.

First off, he plays his drums (badly mind you) whenever he feels the urge, I have a 1 1/2 year old son who takes naps and sleeps at night.... he wakes up just about every time Douche Bag McGee…

Is it weird?

I can't remember anything from my childhood up to about 8 years old... and then I only have a few memories from then until the "big move" that my family took North which is where I was located until I got out on my own.

What I want to know is if this is normal? I was under the impression that most people remembered things at age three and up. I have three memories that always bug me, I've talked about them one other time to someone and they told me I was over reacting and…

How can I revive the dead part of me?- Advice Needed

When I was younger and didn't have cynical thoughts about love and men I loved and loved hard. My first was with Roger, who cheated on me with my best friend. I lost my virginity to him, I loved him, spent ungodly amounts of money on him, bought him everything he wanted. I worked multiple jobs to give him the best Christmas that I could afford. I expect nothing but loyalty and respect and in return was denied that. I hated him for his betrayal.

My second love was Mike. He…

So maybe I do need a little 'dark' magick

I seriously don't ever have a need for hexing or anything like that but I want to learn it and of course right when I say publicly that I don't have a need for hexing my neighbor crossed the line. So tonight was my first time with Hot Foot Powder, traditional Hoodoo recipe with a little extra put in from me.

I'm excited to see the results if any. I've also been looking for a good spell to keep trespasser off of our lawn but I haven't found anything that I really like. Let me…

Abundantly stupid people....

I'm not a genius, I am no scholar and I would never credit myself as a personal who has all the answers, but I would like to think that I have common sense (something lacking in most people now a days) and that if I don't know something I'll do my best to learn about it.

I wish more people took up these ideas because the past three days have been filled with ungodly amounts of stupidity.

My husband and I decided to go to Six Flags (an amusement park) the other…

Anxiety over something so wonderful

I have a huge event coming up soon where I will have to conduct a ritual for my biggest group I've ever had. I can't help but feel a little worried over it. I know though, that in the heat of the moment, I'll be okay.

I am worried we wont have anyone show up (I know we will though, as much as I have been advertising a few people at the least lol) then I worry if we have a lot of people then we won't have any volunteers which will make everything 10 times harder then what it…

My religion is better then yours!

So recently a coven member had been admitted to the hospital, I posted a facebook status saying light a candle, pray, send energy to whatever deity you believe.

Since most of the people on my facebook page are christian everyone said they would pray, which I have no problem with, energy is energy in my book.

But when talking to my sister a few days later she brought it up in the context of "well did you notice that everyone said they would PRAY for her"...... yeah so what?… Continue
