Don't touch the knitting!!!

Happy fourth everyone. I spent part of the day with my husband's family where we almost had an incident. His aunt tried to molest my knitting. She was a little drunk and went to grab it with the intention of taking it out to see how it worked. Ok, I think she was a lot drunk at that point. Not a knitting guru - really

I like to knit. I'm not half bad at it. I made the mistake of knitting in the office and now all the newbie knitter co-workers are looking at me with awe and asking for help. At lunch I gave someone a quick lesson in finishing up a scarf. About an hour after that someone else popped in to say she has a scarf and is bringing it in for me to look at. I don't know how in the space of a week I became the office's knitting guru. Continue

Nine days to NY Witch Fest, nine days to vacation!

Marta Kat Freak Out

I've had quite the unsettling morning. While I was getting ready for work the cats got into the basement. Usually no problem. I went down there and Horatio came right back upstairs. Marta won't leave. Not only will she not leave, she is making these very upset noises like when she is going to the vet. I try to get her to go upstairs but she won't let me near her. Catching my breath
