A Huge Thank You from San Diego Pagan Pride

San Diego Pagan Pride held it’s annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser this last Saturday at Wine Steals in Point Loma. It was a packed room and the tickets sold out a couple of weeks before the event, which was a first for us! Feelin' My Age...Ugh...

So, I threw my back out on Sunday doing a simple thing that shouldn't have been a big deal. I was getting chili out of the truck and turned to set the slow cooker down on the sidewalk and then...I was stuck. Yep. Right there on the sidewalk, I was stuck. Longing for real seasons....

San Diego is a beautiful place to live. It's sunny and warm here 90% of the time. We can have an active garden here all year long (well, my husband does...I have a brown thumb) and my son plays in our backyard almost every day, even on rainy days. When we do get rain we are very grateful because we get so little of it. Then, when we do get a fair amount, people's homes begin to slide down the cliffs and we have tons of traffic accidents because, for those of us who grew up here, wet roads freak… Continue

Back in the groove...

Well, here I am, back from a week of vacation with my girlfriends. Every year we go someplace different and this year we got to go to the Outer Banks, NC. It's so beautiful there. The house we rented had a pond right outside the back gate and I'd go and sit up on the balcony early in the morning and watch the egrets come and swoop down and grab fish out of the pond. Very cool. The Slob aka My Roommate

So, our roommate is a complete and total slob. Ugh. I can't stand filth. It's disgusting and attracts bugs. I have no idea how this kid lives like this. So I'm complaining to my husband about The Slob and he says, "do you want me to tell him to move?". Yay!! Of course I took him up on it (we've talked to The Slob several times and given him several warnings already). So good. He's moving. Crap. Now we have to find another roommate.
