Change is.
CHANGE IS!
The folcrum tips and we roll with the momentum of the moment. Hold tight to your dreams and let them bend with you in the wind. Let the hurts roll off quickly and keep your feet steady upon your Path. Find Peace, Live Peace, Be Peace. Strength comes with each foot placed in front of the other. Our common ground is the Great Mother Earth that we all share.

I do. I made the choice and have had the fortune to live my life as an "Out of the Broom Closet" Pagan. I have always done so, since I was 20 years old, and have had the benefit of watching the attitudes towards our Spirituality change and soften a bit. Much of that is due largely in part to those in our Community to have dedicated their Path to the education of the Masses through publications, radio shows, Interfaith Gatherings, and so on. Through these tireless efforts I have noticed now that…

Here in Chicago we have actually had a bit of a break in the hard winter weather to the point where all the snow has melted. You can see the grass, feel the changing Winds on your face, and some crazy mother even let her kid run out of the house in nothing but shorts and a t-shirt. It has been a welcome relief, and shifts my thoughts to warmer days and my excitement grows....
June 14th & PAGAN SPIRIT GATHERING IS COMING!!! Woot Woot! The 51 week supply run is well over half over and soon I w…

We started out in Madison, where I had been staying all week checking out the area in anticipation of our move this coming summer. Billy Crow and Ana had arrived the night before, and we all rose with the sun for what promised to be an exciting day! Utah Jen was going to have the baby today. After a month of false labor and fears of a baby too large to deliver, the decision was made to induce labor....and so the birthing team gathered at the St. Claire's Hospital in Baraboo, WI. Fearn had spent…

Holy Moly....What an emotional day! I spent it glued to the TV watching all of the election coverage...something completely out of character for me. For some reason (bricks falling) this election has hit me like no other.
Perhaps it is because I was born and raised in Chicago, Obama's home town, that I sit here tonight feeling renewed as a nation's hope flows through this city....gathering just a few miles from where I sit. It is amazing and powerful.....inspiring! I did not realize how deeply…

I am no expert on relationships, I don't think, but I have been on both sides of the fence. There are folks who love me, and folks who hate me, and very few inbetween, as far as I can ascertain. I think my ratio's are fairly decent, the folks on the light side of my web do outweigh those in the dark. Given that, I offer the following on my experiences with relationships:
* Never look to one person to be your end-all, be-all.
* Never extend yourself farther than you can comfortably afford with…

I am not an authority on ethics, I just try to live my life ethically. I definately am not the Pagan Police, and mostly I live a "live and let live" philosophy. However, when I observe what I believe to be injustice (things such as lies, manipulations, physical harm) I just have to stand up. On my personal web there has been an individual who has repeatedly harmed several people that I know personally, starting with myself back in 2003. The recent failure of his 4th marriage has come to an end w…

Here is a recent blog post of a not so nice person I know that I simply must respond to. I will also put it as a comment on his blog page, but I expect it will be deleted immediately.:
The Poster Writes:.......

I wonder what most people would do if their child were to take a broom and start swinging it around the house, breaking items and the broom.
I know what I would do. I believe I know what most parents would do.
But what of those very few parents who would yell at their spouse for…

First posting here on my blog... never really done this before. Groovy greetings to those who know me! Merry Met to those just landing on my web. =)
There are good things going on at the Snowver's (Snow + Staver= Snowver)! We are finally getting around to shovelling out the attic and garage which is good since we can now fit our new camper inside, and won't have to leave it at the mercy of the mice at my Mother's. We just spent our virgin run in it while looking for property in Wisconsin, and h…
