The Queer of Steel
Just to explain the cartoons of "The Queer of Steel." He's a real person, my friend Kris. Kris and I dated briefly many years ago, but remained friends. Kris has always had an affinity for comic books and, in particular, super heros. Superman, in particular.
Kris has lived through two bouts of cancer. Sometime after, he came up with this online persona, the Queer of Steel... a name that suits him perfectly!
I was asked by Kris to do a cartoon rendering-or-two of himself and these were the results.
