Its because of christianity being pushed down my throught that i started looking more into the things they called evil. you can call me a rebel but I always questioned the chistian ways. they wanted you to beleive what they told you and never question. I couldnt take that. I asked my teacher one day
" If the bible teaches us that god is alpha and omaga yet science tells us everthing begins somewhere, then how did god come to be?"
I myself dont believe in the christian ways any more. I did as a very young child only because I was raised with it.
I was critisized when i was younger just for looking into the things Christians didnt want me to. I just learned to tune them out.
As for complaining about the TV why not everythign you see these days. They have things about their god everywhere,
i cant walk into a book store without seeing a whole wall of bible related stuff. yet ours is a tiny sections called New Age.
they even make book marks,
and a whole lot of jewlery.
what a load of crud.
I have been trying to keep christian stuff out of my store but I do have angels (Ilike Angels). I dont keep them for the pupose of christian shoppers though. I just like the looks of them. I do however avoid crusifixes if i can help it.
At least my parents are not closed minded otherwise I would have had a hard time learning about other religions.
I just wish i could go out sometime without having to see christion symbolism and talk where ever i go.
I have had some strange reactions from people just from the necklace i wear. I happen to wear a native american bone necklace alot. I love the necklace and it reminds me of my anseters (I wear it with pride)but as soon as many people see that they are like "eewwww your grose how can you wear that". and some go so far to say "you will go to hell for that". my only answer to them was "How can I go to a place I dont belieave in."
Of course that always gets them wondering. Thats just how I see it. I have spoken to some that think witches, shamans and so many other non christian things are evil. I know I cant change their minds but those willing to listen i am willing to explain things to them. I did manage to help a few people in my village to realise they were looking at us all wrong.
But i still wish christianity wasnt shuved down yoiur throughts.
