When does MisInformation become Information?
This is another one of my Theories yes have some posts.
So when does misinformation become information?
My last boyfriend had a belief that if enough people believe in something no matter how lame enough energy will be put into it therefore making it real. I will use the Buffy the Vampire Slayer tv show as an example. If half a million people believe there are a group known as the Watchers then what's to say there isn't? Now they could come into physical form because people thought it was such a cool idea that they got together and created a group that they labeled it, or for those of you who believe in alternate realities, it could already exist on multi levels outside of this physical plane. TV trivia fans will get ready to say but the watchers did already exist, from the Highlander shows And fans of Anne Rice will say the same thing only in her works they are the Talamasca
So with a spirituality like paganism where depending on whom you talk to almost anything goes, when does misinformation become solid information?
I hear so much chatter about Wicca and how it's been diluted over the last few years, but what you forget is that the energy is the main thing, not the titles or anything else. I just picked a Hollywood iconic thing as my example because that is something we all understand, it is a language shared around the world. One person's diluted item might be another's jumping off point.
As I am sure there are different forms of the Watchers-Talamasca out there, I am sure you have your thoughts on this misinformation or information.
