Serenity CrystalMoon?

I guess it started back whan I was 10. I was an avid fan of an anime (japanese cartoon) called Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon (Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon). I fell so much in love with this series that I came home from school everyday just to watch the newest episode, I went on hunts for merchandise regularly and even started reading stories writen by fans that were based on the series (this is called fanfiction). The obsession grew even more when I began writing my own fanfiction, (my passion is writing) and I would sit in front of the computer for hours just typing away about those magical princesses of the series that turned into soldiers to defend the galaxy.

The main character, Sailor Moon, was a Princess from the Moon 1000 years ago but was sent to Earth in the future (our time) after her Kingdom was destroyed by an evil Queen from another dimension. Serenity, the Moon Princess, was bestowed with the powers to protect the galaxy when she was reborn. Those powers, when unleashed, turned her into a sailor fuku (outfit/suit) wearing super hero. In Japan her human name was Usagi (translated to English correctly it would be Bunny), in America it was Serena.

So when it came time to create a pen-name (the name I would be writing under) I used Serena, which is short for Serenity. That was over used by how many Sailor Moon fans are out there so I decided to create a last name for myself. Moon was added because I've always had a fascination with the Moon. Serena Moon. Serenity Moon. It seemed like it was missing something and I've always liked the name Crystal so I added it as well and it stuck.

I've been writing under this name for 10 years now.

I started practicing witchcraft when I was 12, and though I've come up with other names, not one has stuck with me the way my pen-name has. So, I will now and for always, be Serenity CrystalMoon. Serena to my friends. And just plain old Stacey Lee to my family.
