All Beliefs are Welcome Here!

I'm not a genius, I am no scholar and I would never credit myself as a personal who has all the answers, but I would like to think that I have common sense (something lacking in most people now a days) and that if I don't know something I'll do my best to learn about it.

I wish more people took up these ideas because the past three days have been filled with ungodly amounts of stupidity.

My husband and I decided to go to Six Flags (an amusement park) the other day and on our way we decided to stop at Subway for lunch. We  where waiting inline (I use to work at this particular location years ago and wanted to see who was still working, same owner [who was a massive asshole] etc.... basically I was just nosy) behind a few people deciding what we wanted when we caught the conversation going on between employee and customer... went a little something like this:

Employee(E)- "What can I get you?"

Customer(C)- "I'd like a six inch turkey sandwich on wheat."

E- "Oh I'm sorry we are out of six inch bread..."

C- "Um...okay. Well then make it a footlong for me please."

E- "Okay so a footlong turkey on wheat?"

C- "Yes please...."

Employee makes footlong turkey sandwich on wheat, asks what type of cheese asks if its toasted..."

E- "Okay what would you like on your sandwich?"

C- "Cut it in half because that side is done. Thanks."

THEN we saw a poorly made and grammatically incorrect sign saying "Chipotle Chicken Sandwhich has to have chipotle sauce, no acceptions"

Does anyone else have an issue with the sign? We actually left said establishment before we ordered and went to Panera Bread... which was so much better.

Then... we got to Six Flags- Oh Gods. Stupid people abound! It was mind boggling really. I even got a few text messages that had me questioning my contacts and if I really wanted them to have my phone number lol.

One person asked "R u mad cuz you sound like it" I replied with "I'm texting you.... wtf?"

I called my mother at her home (the only phone she has) and she said "Oh hi, I'm at home!".... really mom? Are you at the number I called you at and you answered? Its a land line.... you can't be anywhere else really.

Maryellen,

Located near St. Louis MO

And I'll agree with you Rob that subway is sub-par when it comes but for some reason once in a while I crave a soggy, smelly sandwich that holds no real nutritional value due to week old veggies.... I keep it expecting it to be better somehow though lol.

Thanks for reading guys.

I know I shouldn't say this about my stepdaughter, but she used to call on the land line and ask "where are you". This was before any of us had a cell phone! DUH. Blessings to You and my stepdaughter haha.
