It's hard enough to listen to criticism from outsiders, but when the naysayer is inside your head, it's even more difficult. How do you deal with it?
1. Recognize that it's not your True Self. Your True Self wants you to succeed, believes in you, and doesn't beat you up. If the voice in your head is telling you that you can't, then it's someone else's programming - values you've subconsciously picked up over the years.
2. Realize that it's not your fault. Everyone goes through this. Change is hard for everyone, and success can feel like an insurmountable mountain. It's even more difficult because of the lies that everyone keeps telling you about how you can't.
3. Surround yourself with a community that understands you. If the people you hang out with aren't supportive, they're only adding to the negative chatter. Instead, you want to grow in community with positive people who will lift you up and believe in you.
