exercises and things to practice, as a new wiccan

i introduced myself to wicca, and all that i have learned have come from books, and this site. could anyone give me some tips on things to practice so that i can bring myself closer to the Gods? any tips for meditation, or grounding? i have really bad anxiety so learning how to ground properly would greatly benefit me! any suggestions are welcome!

Oh my god, grounding is SO important, but it is almost triple important for people who suffer from anxiety. The best method for grounding that I know of is the tree exercise. Almost everyone has heard of it and it's a super simple & effective way to ground yourself.
