This week, it's Kids' stuff here on The spiral Dance! Our theme is The Inner Child and the Outer Child.
What does the Inner Child mean to you? Do you feel trustful toward your Inner Child?
These are the sorts of questions we'll be examining in the first part of the show. And pretty soon we'll listen to a recorded guided meditation from Alan Cohen for connecting with your Inner Child. This is from his album, "Journey to the Center of the Heart", and the meditation is called "Beloved Child".
Then, after we get our Inner Child straight, we'll discuss two issues for real kids:
First, A Welcoming, Naming and Blessing Ritual for newborns, then A Comng of Age ritual to Adulthood for adolescents
Be well. Do good. Enjoy the show!
Some of the music you'll hear on this weeks show include Francesca DeGrandis: "Nimue, Teach Me to Play Like a Child"; The Incredible Stringband: "Koeeoaddi There"; Steeleye Span: "Long A Growin"; Jake Shimabukuro: "Boy Meets Girl"; Shining Wheel Pagan Chorus: "Children of the Earth" and more.
